An amazing cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5

It is very evident that DeWain and Dovey love this cabin in the woods, they have addressed every detail to make your stay an enjoyable one. It is very close to the enterance to the Park so close that you can see it from area enterance. The deer that feed every evening just off the deck are a added blessing.

Thank You so much

Amazing and Beautiful Stay

  • 5 of 5

We made our first trek up to the PNW and discovered this gem through fortune or fate. Upon arrival, the home was immaculate, the fireplace was roaring, the hifi was in the background, and we felt totally welcomed. The owners pride themselves on their property, and it shows. We would give them 10 stars if we could. We will be back!

PERFECT getaway

  • 5 of 5

I needed solitude due to a very stressful family health issue. A place surrounded by nature's beauty was a priority for me. After researching a lot of vacation rental listings, I came across LazeDaze Getaway. I feel lucky to have discovered this gem.

The interior of the cabin could easily be featured in Sunset Magazine; wood floors and ceilings, knotty pine walls, very comfortable (quality) furniture, efficient gas fireplace/heater, fully functional full-size kitchen, comfortable king-size bed in master bedroom on the main floor, and huge spa in master bedroom. Lots of sleeping space in the upper level. Lots of windows that allow great viewing of the surrounding wooded environment. Deer frequently dropped by to admire the cabin.

I was only able to stay for two nights, but I felt rejuvenated after driving away. I would have preferred to stay there for life! I will definitely book more nights at this remarkable getaway.

First Visit To Mt. Rainier

  • 4 of 5

This was our first trip to the Pacific Northwest. As advertised in the write-up, the cabin is very convenient to one of the entrances to Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park, especially if you are interested in the Southern portion of the Nat'l Park. We arrived in the park early each day, getting ahead of the crowds coming in later in the morning. The cabin was very nice and clean. It even had many of the simple necessities need by someone who flew in from the East coast.

Perfect Home Away From Home

  • 5 of 5

I, along with my wife and our 3 children (ages 16,18,20), greatly enjoyed our stay at LazeDaze. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the melodious sounds of music playing in the family room. We were awed by the amount of condiments, extensive movie selection, and a large washer and dryer! During a bout of typical Seattle weather (cold and rain), LazeDaze provided a warm and cozy haven from the outside. We fed deer - which came mainly at dawn and dusk - and had plenty of room to spread out within the cabin's two floors. Overall, an excellent trip - the homeowners ensured that our needs were met with careful attention to detail and cleanliness. It was also a great location; three minutes from the Nisqually entrance to Rainier, and close to some restaurants in Ashford. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Rainier.

You gotta go!

  • 5 of 5

We loved it! From the outside, doesn't look at all like how it feels inside. Cozy, beautiful, and was one of the best retreats I've had. You have got to go, only a few minutes from Mt. Rainer national park entrance. Wonderfull location and the deer are an awesome perk! We will be back :)
