Unit A-412: An airy, open floor plan and a location just steps to Kamaole Beach Park III combine to make this a popular Kihei vacation property. The spacious residence measures over 1100 square feet , with 2 bedrooms, 2 new bathrooms and a private lanai (patio). Your deluxe condominium offers you the privacy and comfort of your own home. We are the owners and we give the commission discount directly to our guests. Many guests, from all over the world, have enjoyed staying at our condominium year after year.

The condo has two master bedrooms, a large living room and dining room, a new fully equipped kitchen (with granite countertops), a clothes washer and dryer inside, and air conditioning in each room. The sleeping arrangements consist of :

Bedroom #1 has one king-size bed and a private bathroom with shower and large bathtub.

Bedroom #2 has two twin (single) beds and a private bathroom with shower. These twin beds can be pushed together to make a king and there are extra king sheets.

The living room has one queen sofa bed.

This condominium is a south-facing, end-unit which gives our guests both extra windows and extra sunlight. With the vaulted ceiling and open floor plan, this residence has lots of light and an oversized feel. A-412 is located on the 'quieter' back side of the of the first building in the complex... this minimizes the street noise as well as offering a bit of privacy. A-412 also has a distant view of the Pacific Ocean.

Haleakala Shores has a private swimming pool which sparkles in the garden setting. Your condo is quiet and peaceful; it does not receive street noise or noise from the pool.

Haleakala Shores is an attractive property located across the street from one of Maui's best beaches, Kamaole Beach Park III. The '3 Kamaoles', Kamaole Beach I, II, and III, are 3 wonderful beaches (Kihei's largest) for all kinds of water activities. They have excellent swimming, snorkeling, diving, and sunbathing only 100 yards from your doorstep.

About The Owner

I reside in beautiful Lake Tahoe, California and visit my condominium in Maui every 6 months. I enjoy skiing, scuba diving, and the great snorkeling of South Maui.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2003

Why The Owner chose Maui

I wanted to own a place where I could walk to a great beach in flip-flops. I didn't want to have to drive anywhere. I also wanted to be in South Kihei where the beaches are large and the water is clear and beautiful. There is good snorkeling right at our beach, Kamaole Beach Park 3, and only a short walk to Kamaole Beach Park 2. In addition, one can walk to restaurants, shopping, and even a convenience store. The area is teaming with life and locals enjoy our park on weekends.

What makes this condo unique

I loved this condominium because it has a two story ceiling and it is an end unit, so it is extra sunny with nice cross breezes. It is also very large for a Maui condominium; you'll love that. It is one of the best locations; it is in the back corner facing away from both streets which makes it very quiet!

Great location and very spacious.

We only stayed for one night with our 4 teenage children but we wished we could have stayed longer. We really like Kihei because it is less resort-like and more casual, which is what we like. The condo was much bigger than we expected and really comfortable. It had everything we could ever need and the location was perfect. We love snorkeling past Makena Beach near the Nature Preserve.

Thanks to the previous comments we were prepared for the tight parking spot and backing into it was no problem for our mini van but we parked on the side of the road as well. This beats any hotel by a landslide.

Bill is extremely helpful and easy to work with, always quick to reply. Our stay was a great experience all around and I hope we will make it back some day.

Condo was as pictured ,clean and well stocked in the kitchen. Plenty of towels, bedding and beach gear. Location near pool was very nice. the condo was located on the quite side of Building A. Short walk to beach. Thank-you Bill for use of your condo.

Perfect for our family!

Bill's condo was great! I especially loved that his price included tax and cleaning. It is just as pictured and was perfect for our family (3 adults and 3 young boys). We loved being able to walk to the beach and anything else we wanted to explore was a short drive away. The condo was well-equipt with everything we could possibly need. Being able to shop and eat meals at "home" saved a lot of money; we utilized the pool-side BBQ too. I read a few comments about parking being difficult. We had a mini-van and just backed it in each day with no problem. This was our first time staying in Kihei and if we come back, we'll definitely stay at Bill's again!

Great find in Kihei

Enjoyed staying here while in Kihei for a week. Good size 2 bedroom condo and very clean and comfortable. Bill was very quick to answer my questions and easy to work with from the very beginning. He has so many extras as his condo, snorkeling gear (masks and fins), umbrellas, mats, towels, golf clubs, tennis rackets, hats, ice chests, boogie boards just to name a few. The location was so convenient to Kam II and III. I enjoyed the noisy birds and the neighbors that I met were very nice. Close to walk into town and lots of choices for eating and shopping. Thanks so much Bill for sharing your second home with us..

This condo was perfect for us. It is just as pictured, very clean, comfortable, and in a safe environment- just across the street from a great beach and several more within easy walking distance. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and was beautiful. There were many fans, which worked very well, with the windows open, to keep the place cool. The a/c was only needed for a short time when we first arrived. Several shopping areas were within walking distance. The grand bonus was all the beach equipment available for use: masks, fins, chairs, towels, mats, cooler, boogie boards... The only thing we had to bring or rent were the snorkels- very inexpensive to rent at Snorkel Bob's, and fun to meet Sue there. The owner of this condo was very helpful, upfront, and quick to respond as we prepared for this amazing vacation!

Nice Property for Cost

This condo was nicer than we expected in many ways. It was clean, easy to access (no having to deal with check-in desks) and the wood floor in the bedroom was nicely done. We were only there for two days but would have liked to stay a few more days. The beach across the street was also nicer than expected in that we usually stay in more of the upper resort areas. My dislike was the parking situation. This unit has a one stall parking area under the complex and there are concrete pillars on both sides and it is the first stall after coming around the corner of the building. We tried to park our minivan there but gave up.... Would probably have done damage to my car trying. Maybe if you have a subcompact car it would be OK but still tight by my standards. More like I expect in Europe. This was mentioned only after the booking so thought others should know. This was not a deal killer in that it appears that many larger cars park on the grass area next to the road but we were unsure if that was technically allowed. No one gave us any issue with this.

Owner's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes, the parking is a standard size stall but can be hard to back into with a large vehicle. There is unlimited parking in the grass area next to the complex. Looking forward to you staying with us again.
