Your chalet is beautiful! The view is absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the sun rise everyday (almost). The pool table was a hit! We hope to visit again.
Overall this property was about what we expected for the price. Comfortable beds, and a bonus that four of them were King size! TVs in bedrooms. Great decks and hot tub worked just fine. Nice community pool and courts for the kids. Wish we could see the property's amazing view of town and mountains, but no view in summer due to leaves. Community bear was entertaining, never bothered with us, so it was fine. A/C uneven. Upstairs bedroom very hot, almost unbearable. Needs a ceiling fan. Downstairs bedrooms like refrigeration. Great pool table/game area. A few upgrades to the kitchen would be nice, like a kitchen scissors, a few large serving bowls (at least a salad bowl), and some plastic cups for kids. Owners very responsive to our needs and issues - couldn't have been nicer or more concerned that we enjoyed our stay! Which we did. Great Smoky Mountains National park is amazing.
Nice upper and lower decks with view of trees and sometimes bears. The only view of downtown Gatlinburg must be during fall and winter when there are no leaves on trees. The living and dining room has nice laminate flooring, but is very tight for 10 persons. The carpet in the bedrooms and stairs was very stained, but the linens were very clean and the overall condition of the bathrooms was clean. Mattress was comfortable. The air conditioning was unbalanced. Upstairs was so hot that we had to buy a fan to tolerate it. Downstairs was so cold we layered on the blankets and closed the vents. Rebecca and her husband were very kind and took care of any problems we reported in a timely manner. The actual rating should be between 3 and 4 stars or a 3+. It was better than average, but could easily be good with some needed attention.
Cabin is beautiful. Rooms are spacious and cabin was pretty clean. Wine glasses were put back in cabinet unwashed and hot tub jets never worked but otherwise my friends and I had a great weekend.
Beautiful chalet with upper and lower decks for conversation and viewing of the bears! More than enough room for our group of 7 adults - chalet was very clean when we arrived. The entire property was better than advertised, e.g. kitchen equipment, etc. Nearby restaurants in Gatlinburg provided a wonderful variety of choices. Enjoyed visiting Clingman's Dome and the Arts & Crafts Trail.
The trip up and down the mountain is a bit challenging. Enjoyed the semi remote location of the cabin better than the subdivision of cabins we have stayed in before. Seen bears in the monring and afternoons. For the most part they ignored us but was cool to see them walk past the balcony. Baby climed the tree and was eye level with the lower deck. Wish there was opportunities for recyling. We had a trash bag full of aluminum cans and plastic bottles that tore us apart to pitch. Otherwise nice cabin, location and layout worked for us.
