Top to Bottom remodel completed in 2009. New kitchen, bath, TV's appliances... all the comforts of home! The bath has both tub and shower. Our One Bedroom Mariner's Watch Villa has a lagoon view from the living room and screened porch. It is 150 yards to the spectacular 10 mile beach.
The Master Bedroom has a King bed and flat screen TV. The Living room sofa-bed is a queen+ with an additional 6 inches in width. Here there's another flat screen TV, IPod docking station, and WiFi access..
We are centrally located with easy access to all Kiawah Golf Courses. It's a 10 minute walk to Town Center for a bottle of wine, or The Sanctuary Hotel for a wonderful dinner. Freshfields Village is a few minutes away by car, with a great grocery store, shops and restaurants for your convenience. You're only 21 miles from beautiful downtown Charleston.
We discovered Kiawah Island while exploring the 'Low Country' on a cross country driving trip from our home in Minneapolis. We quickly fell in love with the beautiful walking beach, golf courses, bike paths and lush natural setting. We know we'd want to come back often and share it with friends, so we bought a villa close to all the amenities and a short drive from Charleston. Over the years we've continued to invest in keeping everything up to date and like new.

My fiance and I just returned from our trip to Kiawah Island, and we were absolutely blown away by how wonderful of an experience we had! It was an absolutely beautiful place, and we loved the combination of being so close to the beach while feeling like we were immersed in nature as well. This condo was the perfect rental for us. This was absolutely the perfect size for two people to stay comfortably. It was very clean and well-kept. It looks just as it is pictured and we kept saying how we loved how open and well-decorated it was. The kitchen had everything we needed so that we could cook dinner a few nights during our week-long stay. There was a grocery store right before you get on the island that was close enough so we could run to buy anything we needed. We also really enjoyed the screened deck out back. It was very shaded but also had a fan, so when it got too hot for the beach in the afternoon we could sit comfortably on the deck. The beach access was extremely close to this rental property, and we were very pleased to find that when we stayed the beach wasn't very crowded. It was clean and very quiet, with only other people who were renting homes in that section there as well. We were on the beach multiple times a day, and we did things like go for runs or bike rides on the beach and taking evening walks. The condo was central to bike paths, and I'd recommend bringing bikes down or renting them so you can take full advantage. It made for the perfect vacation. Our only concern was we had a really tough time with the lock getting into the front door. We had to pull the door forward in order to turn the key all the way, but it still gave us a tough time getting in. Overall we are so happy we stayed here and hope to make the trip again in the future!
We are seasoned Kiawah renters so we already knew howych we love the island. Normally, we rent a 5 bedroom house and bring our entire family. This was just a quick trip for my husband and I and so we had to search for a smaller unit. The condo was exactly as pictured on the website and the location was perfect! Very short walk to the beach....we loved it!
We couldn't be more pleased with the condo during our week-long stay on Kiawah Island. Everything was clean and well-maintained, with nice tasteful colors and decor, modern appliances, well-stocked kitchen, king-size comfortable bed and pillows, new dresser, closet with extra supplies- iron, hair dryer, blankets, pillows, hangers, etc.
Everything made sense and we instantly felt like at home. The screened patio was our favorite hangout space- looking out at the lagoon, very relaxing any time of the day. The walk to the beach takes just a minute and is very pleasant. The community is very quiet and the neighbors are very respectful and friendly. The beach is breathtaking, open, clean and not crowded. We did our shopping at the nearby Freshfields Village (where you check-in and check-out) - Harris Teeter supermarket was amazing, there are also good restaurants, boutiques and live music in the evenings. There's also the Night Heron Park a 5 min scenic walk away with a reptile exhibit, bike rental and a playground. The property owner was very nice and responsive to our many questions. This property added a very nice touch to our already wonderful experience on the island, and we would definitely recommend it to our friends and family- and will!
Perfectly sized vacation spot for two. Anything larger would have been wasted space as most of our time was spent at the incredible beach or riding bikes around the island. What time we spent indoors was on the screened-in patio reading & enjoying the view of the lagoon. Complaints were few and minor: Living room TV had to be re-programmed to allow it to receive the cable signal; dirty dishes were still in the dishwasher; the light on the patio was too dim to read by so we had to bring the floor lamp from the living room out there to make it bright enough; the entrance lock was very hard to open so we told management & they had someone come out right away to give it a shot of WD-40 which solved the problem. All-in-all though, a very relaxing time was had. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We'll definitely consider it for our next trip back.
My wife and I had never been to Kiawah Island so staying in such a well-appointed and well-located condo really helped make it a successful adventure. We could walk to the beach in less than three minutes and Heron's park was no more than five minutes away. We particularly enjoyed the screened in patio and watching the bikers roll by as we read or chatted over a cup of morning coffee. Nice little view back there. Very peaceful and relaxing! We would no doubt come back and stay in this condo again as it fit our needs perfectly. We also enjoyed the golfing and restaurants but since it was March we weren't able to enjoy the sun as much as we'd have liked. I guess we'll just have to come back and visit again during the summertime!
My sister and I had a wonderful long weekend at Kiawah! The beautifully decorated villa was perfect from the well-equipped kitchen to the relaxing screened-in porch. The beach is just moments away! We're anxious to return to this villa!
