We have 4 kids and 2 beautiful granddaughters. We love spending time with our family and love leaving the rainy Seattle weather in search of sunshine!
Scott Spencer purchased this townhome in 2011
We began vacationing in Eagle Crest 10 years ago and fell in love with the area. Our family loves golf and outdoor activities so the area is perfect for us!
We love the pools and bike trails, and of course, the golf! Smith Rock is located just a few minutes away and we enjoy the challenging trails there. Also, we love to go to Cline Falls, just down the road from Eagle Crest, to swim and tube in the river.
We truly enjoyed our week at Scott's home in Eagle Crest. As many reviewers mentioned, the home is clean, comfortable, updated and well appointed with everything you need for your stay -- right on down to laundry soap and tin foil for leftovers. The main level is spacious and the appliances are all updated.
The home is located among lots of walking and biking trails, and we enjoyed watching golfers from the back deck. It's also located a quick and easy bike ride/walk to the golf course and one of the sports centers -- indoor pool, spa, playground, volleyball and horseshoe. The patio set and hot tub were used regularly, and a wonderful addition. We appreciated the parking area out front, which was separated from the street by a medium and a bike trail, so that our youngest could play outside and ride his bike around on his own. We were able to prepare meals and do things inside while just keeping the front door open to see and hear him nearby.
We felt that the price for this rental home was a great deal for a week of relaxation and family time. Thanks Scott and family!
If I could recommend anything at all, it would be bunk beds in the 2nd bedroom, a couple of added items in the kitchen (cheese grater and electric griddle), and some additional supplies like kitchen cleaner, toilet paper and pool towels (which we ended up locating in the storage closet, so no problem).
This house was perfect for our weekend at our nephews wedding! The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and utensils. The beds were comfy and everything was very clean. The view from the back deck was lovely. Thanks for a great stay.
Very relaxing condo situated on the Golf Course. Although we don't do much cooking while there it I is fully equipped to do so. Walking/bike paths throughout Eagle Crest as well as access to fitness center. We enjoy Eagle Crest and have stayed in this beautiful condo several times as it is very relaxing clean and quiet. Our first choice when going to Central Oregon.
My husband and I had a wonderful Time at Eagle Crest. We loved waking up to the fresh air, quiet surroundings and the view. The location was perfect and we could easily walk to the sports center. We loved the home and watched shooting stars from the hot tub at night . The deck off the bedroom was a bonus. We will certainly go back!
Really beautiful and the owner is so kind.
He respond all what I asked him kindly.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean and well kept townhouse in Central Oregon. The property is located in Eagle Crest, about halfway between Sisters and Redmond. The location is quiet, with the back porch overlooking a golf course. There is plenty of opportunity to go for walks on the resort grounds, Central Oregon recreation locations such as Smith Rock are within short driving distance. An indoor pool is available a short walk away, but we did not use it.
Kitchen appliances are all new, the kitchen itself well stocked with pots, pans, etc. The house is well-kept and was very clean. We appreciated the WIFI and cable television, even though we could not figure out how to get the cable to work upstairs. The hot tub was very appreciated after spending a day hiking at Smith Rock. Beds were on the small side but adequate. Bathrooms were nice. We appreciated the gas grill outside. Overall an enjoyable stay in a well-kept property in a peaceful setting.
A few minor items need maintenance attention: The lower panel on the gas fireplace on the TV side (which hides the igniter button) kept falling out when the gas fireplace heated up, probably just needs to be put back correctly. We found a few loose slats on the banister of the porch, with one that has fallen out, they just need to be nailed back down. The water in the hot tub was quite murky and brownish looking, might just be the local water, but possibly needs someone to check. Also, the straps that hold the hot tub cover down need replacing (all but two missing). There are some warning lights on the fridge indicating filters need replacing. The gas grill really needs a thorough clean.
