Nice and secluded

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I stayed over the Labor Day weekend. The house is a summer camp. Living room and kitchen were a good size. The bedroom downstairs was small but comfortable. The upstairs loft had 3 beds but we did not use it. It seemed warm upstairs. It had all the necessary supplies needed and we had to use the wood stove in the living room on two morning due to the weather being in the 30's. The view from the house was beautiful. We loved having our own private bay and were able to use our kayaks whenever we wanted. There was a paddle boat and canoes available as well. We brought our bikes and went to the feeder canal trail to ride. This is close by. David, the owner, was very nice and accommodating. Overall, this is a private place to relax if you want to get away from it all.

Just what we needed

  • 4 of 5

We were looking for a nice get away in which we could include the whole family, including the furry one. I have fond memories of cottages growing up and I wanted my family to be able to experience the same. This location was perfect. It is deceptively secluded. Close by to anything one might need, but tucked away nicely so that it seems really private. We really enjoyed our time here and David is a very gracious host. We look forward to visiting up here again in the future when we need to kick back, relax, and enjoy the view.

Peaceful repsite

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed here for a week in July and had a wonderful vacation! Very close to Lake George and Saratoga, so it was easy to get into town when we wanted or just stay put and enjoy the peace. The owner, David, is wonderful, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The cottage is fully equipped and very clean. Loved it!
