We certainly enjoyed our stay in your cozy casita. The setting is so beautiful, we were reluctant to go out and sightsee. We did go out and see some terrific things but this casita made coming home in the evening a joy. Thank you so much -
Casita Hermosa is the perfect spot to relax after a Santa Fe day. Wonderful hosts, authentic Southwest ambience, room to gather visiting family indoors and out. Lleta and Ken were attentive without being intrusive. We appreciated the first morning breakfast and later the dessert which we shared with our son and his family. Destinations are easily accessible but the return to the Casita makes the day. We hope to return next year.
What a gem! My husband and I recently stayed at this gorgeous casita and just fell in love with both the area and the property.. We were looking for a vacation property that was a little bit off the beaten path, but with easy access to Santa Fe and surrounding attractions. The location was just perfect for us - surrounded by beautiful hills and high desert vistas. Sunrises and sunsets from the property are just stunning. And it was so quiet!
The hosts and owners live next door but other than when we first arrived and departed, we never saw them. The casita it situated in a way that is very private. It was comforting however to know they were nearby if needed. In fact, Lleta came to our rescue the day we left when we had the infortnate surprise of a dead battery. She came over immediately and helped us jump start our car. Thank you Lleta!
Besides the scenery and location, we also were beyond pleased with the casita itself. They have furnished it so beautifully - truly out of the pages of a magazine, with every amenity you could possibly need. The towels and linens are high-end, the kitchen extremely well stocked and well equipped if you plan to cook.
Lleta graciously provided some very delicious gluten-free blueberry muffins the first morning of our arrival that were just divine. These hosts clearly go above and beyond to create a beautiful, serene vacation experience for their guests.
I enthusiastically recommend this property and hope to return someday.
We had a great time at La Vista Hermosa. The property is so comfortable and peaceful - you feel like you are really away from the hustle and bustle but at the same time it's easy to get into Santa Fe and out to the main highway. Comfortable bed, cozy fireplace, and reasonably well equipped kitchen. Lleta is a gracious host and we would definitely stay again.
This was our first trip to Santa Fe and we picked a great place to stay! Ken & Lleta's casita is just what we needed! Quiet, beautiful views, and very relaxing. Each morning we had breakfast on the patio enjoying our coffee and the mountain views! Nicely decorated, (SW style) clean and the kitchen well stocked for cooking meals in if you'd like. We would definitely stay here again. (Ken helped with suggestions of places to see and things to do for a couple of our day trips as well.) Thank you Ken & Lleta!
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this well appointed Casita. The home is very comfortable and comes equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The property is secluded, private and quiet in a area of very nice Santa Fe style homes. We found the location to be a good starting point to visit all the sights in the greater Santa Fe area. The house is well furnished and full of southwest charm and has two fireplaces to help keep things warm and cozy. If you are looking for a quiet, cozy, romantic place to stay, in a beautiful setting just outside the hustle and bustle of the city then this is the place.
Home is very nice and super clean. Surrounding area is very beautiful and pieceful. We would love to stay there again if we get a chance.
