TO PASING !!!
Pasing is perhaps the most lively district of Munich West. Around the station and the Marienplatz is always something going on. If you want to experience something culturally, is well advised with a visit to the Pasinger factory. Shaping the City field are the residential area and the city park with its inviting, spacious green areas.
The cultural offer in Pasing is diverse. This is mainly due to the Pasinger factory. There is a wide range of theater and opera performances. In addition, on permanent display rotating exhibitions of young or established artists. The Kupa West is home studios of artists exhibiting their works at the premises of the former Kuvertfabrik. Also the Ebenböckhaus worth a visit. During the summer months, the garden and the ground floor rooms are used for cultural events. For young people there is the Aquarium Youth Center. This often concerts of young bands take place and in the various workshops, young people can operate themselves artistically.
Quite a few people call Pasing as a "city within a city". And actually, if you look at the hustle and bustle around the Marienplatz and the Pasinger station, then this term is quite applicable. The variety of shopping facilities can actually nothing to be desired. The Pasing arcades are now just as popular as the Olympia Shopping Mall. The same man road between the station and Marienplatz attract many Pasinger the shopping areas in the city such as Leopold or Kaufingerstraße ago. And the Viktualienmarkt in Pasing offers many similarly fresh delicacies as his eponymous counterpart in the old town.

We arrived quite late on our first night and Jonas happily accommodated us, including a question we had and called about after 11 PM. The bed in the master bedroom, while appropriately sized, is on the floor, which took some getting used to. The shower was nice, the kitchen is large and the other sleeping accommodations for my teenage children were very good.
Jonas' responsiveness was excellent and I'd highly recommend renting the place on your next stay in Munich.
This rental was very difficult for us. It is located DIRECTLY ABOVE a BAR! There was loud juke box music coming right through the floor with every beat until 2 in the morning. Along with the music were drunken local German men singing along which could also be heard. One night the loud drunken talking was still coming through the floor at 2:30 am after the bar was officially closed at 2. We contacted the apartment manager and found that uncaring. We asked him why he didn't reveal in his add that it was above a bar and he said it was not in his interest to "reveal too much". One Friday night we had to leave the apartment due to a live band under us with a drummer and we stayed at a nearby hotel at our expense. We feel the manager was unhelpful. He phoned us back only once and said he couldn't talk too much as he was in a public sauna. Once we communicated our problem, we got no more calls back from him. There is also an automated moving billboard outside the apt. which rotates nosily ever minute or so vibrating the wall. Also the bar door closing can be heard in the apt. I read the positive reviews and am shocked that there is no mention of the bar. We got very little sleep. If you don't believe me, ask the manager if it is above a bar. It is not a restaurant. It is a loud BAR and open until 2 in the morning. Also, the shower curtain (a roll down broken window shade) had mold and could not be used. The shower nozzle is ancient and sprays in every direction. The curtains on the windows were uncut and dragging over a foot on the floor. The walls were bare like a student dormitory. The sofa (listed as a bed) was very old, hard and sagging and bad for sleeping. The main bed was very hard. Entry light near the entrance door was broken. Bathroom light had broken glass exposed. The main entrance door to the house is always left open and not secured leaving only the apartment door to lock. The kitchen was barely equipped, no toaster for bread, limited glassware etc... Stained seat cushions on the chairs. The overall cleanliness was poor and dirty by and German standards. No amenities, even soap, provided. The mentioned balcony is outside the apartment and up one floor as is the washer and dryer. There was no privacy curtain on the kitchen window which you had to walk past from the bathroom to the rest of the house. The whole apartment had an industrial feel to us with no care or attention to detail. It is a 1 bedroom. I do not see how it can sleep 6. Be careful.
Spacious apartment about a 15 minute easy train ride to Marienplatz (on one line without having to transfer). Some restaurants and good grocery stores nearby (I especially enjoyed the organic market about a 5 minute walk away). Plenty of room for our family (2 adults, 3 teens). You can close doors between living room and dining room to keep it quiet for those sleeping in the living room. Beds were very comfortable. Nice kitchen (although no toaster and just a french press for coffee - if this matters to you). Overall a good apartment.
The apartment was clean and very conveniently located. Very good experience.
The apartment was perfect for our needs. There were two couples, though the apartment could comfortably sleep 6. It is very spacious, though there is only one bathroom.
It is a very short walk to the Pasing S-Bahn train station (5-10 minutes), which is then less than a 10-minute ride to central Munich/the Marienplatz. It's also a main stop on the EuroRail system.
The Pasing area is a quiet location within Munich. If you prefer the noise of downtown, then this is not the apartment for you. But if you want a spot to be able to relax and enjoy the quiet, just minutes from the centre, this is a perfect location.
Jonaz met us at the apartment, walked us through everything, and made sure we were comfortable.
The apartment is very clean, and newly furnished. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Munich.
