Our showcase 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom townhouse on the prestigious Mauna Lani resort will make you feel like you are in paradise. Decorated in rich tropical furnishings, this townhouse was selected as the show unit for sales at the new Kulalani resort. A carved hardwood table with matching leather-covered chairs seats up to 6 people in the dining area and an expanding teak table accommodates the same number on the lanai. Every room is filled with tropical designs that will put a smile on your face.
This unit is ideal for either a family or up to six adults who'd like to share a place. It has 3 bedrooms (each with it's own TV), a huge galley kitchen, 2-1/2 bathrooms, an attached garage, secured wi-fi and comes equipped with everything you need for a luxurious carefree vacation. The Lanai is spacious with a built in gas grill, sink and preparation area. The property includes a brand new state-of-the-art fitness center, a lap pool, a resort pool, a kiddie pool and 2 hot tubs - all at your disposal.
Two beautiful swim, snorkel and tan beaches are a mere 10 minutes away. We have boogie boards, snorkelling gear, beach chairs, cooler etc - ready to go. You'll have access to the Beach Club. A Petroglyph park is walkable in one direction and a nice little mall with a full grocery store, coffee shops, and restaurants is walkable in the other direction. And of course, golf golf golf, everywhere you look. The property is situated in the heart of the championship Mauna Lani golf courses, with many other nearby courses.
The Big Island is the home of the Ironman World Championships, so these roads were made for biking with wide, well-maintained shoulders running all the way into the town of Kona in one direction and up to the artist colony of Hawi in the other.
Take the kids to nearby Hapuna Beach, where the waves are gentle, but big enough for body-surfing. Or attend Talk Story, an evening of local yore, song, dance and culture offered once a month, right here on the shores at Mauna Lani.

We are from Seattle Washington and enjoy fitness activities such as swimming, running, golf, biking, triathlon and snorkeling. Between the two of us we've completed 3 Hawaiian Ironman triathlons.

We're triathletes and travel to the big Island each year to golf, train and compete in a triathlon or two. We fell in love with the Mauna Lani area. It's so quiet.

This is a well kept property with everything you need to enjoy a great stay on the big island. The location on the island is wonderful and the pool area and private beach can't be beat. A wonderful and pristine unit! We will definitely be back (again - we always stay at Kulalani)!
We really enjoyed our stay in the condo. The kitchen is very nice and the laundry is handy. We had a convertible and the garage was nice to be able to pull in and leave the top down. There are some great restaurants in the area and great beaches close. Kona is only 30 min away and makes Costco is great for getting food and gas. Beautiful golf courses at the resort. We would stay there again for sure.
My family of four loved this home. The upstairs bedroom gave my kids their own space while we had plenty of privacy in the downstairs master suite. The kitchen was very well equipped with so many things, I kept finding new things on the 10th day! Laundry in a great location right as you come in from the garage and plenty of beach/pool accessories. My daughter loved the boogie boards and all the sand toys. Chairs were great at the beach. Super clean and plenty of towels and linens. The location is great. You can walk to Foodland and to the pool. The pool in the development is so nice. Lap pool and a family pool. The beach at the Mauna Lani was one of our favorites so it was nice to have beach access. They have great cabanas there. You can also drive 10 minutes to a bunch of other beaches. Oh and only a 10 minute drive to the best shave ice truck in Kawaihae! Thanks for providing a great home away from home.
The proximity of the Kulalani to beaches, restaurants etc. is great without feeling crowded like at a resort. The condo had everything we needed for the beach and for preparing meals. It was clean and spacious. Our kids loved it and were sad to leave!
I've rented numerous units at Kulalani over the past 5 years and I think this unit was the best so far. It's got a great layout, clean, and very well appointed. You can tell the owner takes great pride in their property. Julie was also great to work with. Very responsive and helpful. She communicated with me several times prior to my arrival and I didn't have to track her down for things like gate and key codes which I've had to do with several other owners and property managers. A+ for service, locale, and making our stay really enjoyable.
If you've never been to Mauna Lani Resort I'd say that the Kulalani is the best development. Very nice units, great private pool, centrally located so you can easily walk to shops, restaurants, grocery store as well as the Fairmont Orchid.
We stayed here in January with a family of 6...grandparents, parents & kiddos (4&6). We had a fabulous time. The condo was immaculate & well stocked with everything we needed...& more! It was a short walk to the pool area & had a large grass area nearby to play with our kids. Access to the private Beach Club was amazing. It was so nice to have a protected area to take the kids, not to mention a perfect place to paddleboard & surprisingly superb snorkeling. The owner, Julie, was an absolute dream to do business with!
