Nice house, well equipped and convenient

  • 5 of 5

This was a lovely place to stay. Room to park 2 cars, and we stayed w our adult children, 6 in all, were not crowded and had a place to eat other than restaurants.

Clean and close to my brother's house in Seattle.

The owner was nice about my not having the app for check in

Good restaurants within a mile or so Starbucks in walking distance

Nice clean home in South Seattle

  • 4 of 5

This is a very clean and nice vrbo! I stayed here with 10 people and we were very comfortable. There is a lot of space! The house is located 15 min south of the city, so you have to be prepared to do some driving if you are hoping to spend most of your time downtown Seattle. We were here for a wedding in Rainier Valley, so the house was perfect. Thanks Tonyhai!

Affordable housing in Seattle.

  • 4 of 5

The property was located in Seattle, near Columbia City. It is a few blocks from the light rail, making it convenient for visitors to get to. The house was spacious with plenty of sleeping rooms. It's in the southern part of Seattle, but still easy to get around Seattle and the nearby sites and locales. The house was clean and had plenty of supplies for everyone. The house is located on a busy street, so you can hear the traffic noise, but most of the bedrooms are away from the street, so it's not so noticeable at night. The back patio was nice to sit out and enjoy the weather, while the front porch area was also nice and large, but just viewed the busy street below.

I would rate this place as FAIR.

  • 2 of 5

The house was moderately clean, but the kitchen had a foul odor and there were sugar ants. However, the location was close to where we needed to be, and the linens were well laundered and there were some games and books for the children which was nice. There was enough room for our extended family to stay.

The photos in the listing were not accurate, and should be updated. There was no big office desk or bunk beds in the rental, nor were there the white couches. Also the deck that was shown in the listing overlooks a noisy highway, and the back patio was in need of structural repair. Parking is off an alley behind the house and took a bit to locate We could not get the DVD/VCR to work at all.

Easily accomodates a large group

  • 3 of 5

This two story home has a nice floor plan for a large group of people who may also like to have a little time to themselves. There are three bedrooms. Two with queen beds and one with a king (no bunk bed as pictured). The master bedroom has enough floor space for a (provided) twin mattress or air bed (provided). There is a pull out sofa in the bottom floor living space (we didnt use), and two futons in the main floor livingroom. There are two bathrooms, two living rooms, and two decks with patio furniture. The deck on the front of the home is quite large and has a fabulous view of Mt. Rainier (on a clear day). The owner supplies plenty of linens and the kitchen is fairly well stocked. There is a large washer and dryer on site. There is ample parking for at least 3 vehicles, but public transportation is within walking distance. This home is located in a neighborhood on a fairly busy street, but we felt safe and the street noise was tolerable. We did have vehicles and were able to get to the city in about 30 minutes or so (Try to avoid rush hours). It was very hot during our stay, but fans were provided (no air conditioning which is not uncommon). The property could benefit from a few upgrades (especially the furniture), but on the whole we had a pleasant experience. The owner was very prompt in replying to any questions or concerns we had. The only issues we really had were that we couldn't get the remotes to work for the tv's, the jacuzzi tub would trip the breaker after a few minutes, and we were expecting a bunk bed so someone had to sleep on the futon (which wasn't very comfortable). If you are looking for a posh, fancy place, this might not be the property for you. However, if you are looking for an affordable, large home where you can get to the city easily, cook your own meals, do laundry, and sit outside and enjoy the weather you may want to consider this property.

Best price in nice Columbia city

  • 5 of 5

Tony has a place that can accommodate plenty of people and it is relatively close (15 minute walk) to the light rail either at the Columbia Station or Othello Station. I always felt like he was available for any questions if I had them. Super nice guy! There is a great view of Mt. Rainier on a clear day. The sunsets were beautiful. It has everything you need to cook your own meals. The two bathrooms were nice with the amount of people we had staying there. The place was kept tidy, the sheets for all the beds were clean. There were plenty of towels stocked in the closets. The neighborhood feels relatively safe. We never had any problems. I can see why some people may not feel's not suburbia, but sometimes you have to sacrifice that when in the city for convenience and closeness to all the activities you want to do. It is on a main road but the noise is minimal because it sits up on a hill and has a wall of concrete steps that leads down to the road. Overall it is a great place to stay if you and a bunch of friends want to get a taste of Seattle and don't want to have to rent a car to get around. I'd definitely stay here again! Thanks Tony!
