Kona Pacific condominiums have meticulously maintained swimming pool, BBQ grill area, lending library and gardens. On-site manager. Brand new elevators, hallway carpet/paint. Very nice!
GREAT OCEAN VIEW! Less than a block to ocean less than 1 blocks to public sandy beach w/ NEW showers and bathrooms (walk-in snorkeling, sunset photos!) in heart of sunny Kailua-Kona - EASY-PEASY walking distance to . . . . . . . -restaurants and bars -shopping, shopping, shopping -Kona Pier - snorkeling, swimming, glass bottom boat, submarine, sunset cruises -oldest church in Hawaiian Islands -Hulihe'e Palace and cultural center -sand volleyball (join in anytime!) -Farmer's Market -Post Office, banks, grocery stores, library All within 1-8 blocks!
We stayed at this property in April 2016 and had a great experience. The condo was clean (and I am super picky about that) and very well stocked. I can't think of a thing we would have wanted that wasn't provided- even a beach umbrella, boogie boards and other beach stuff was available. The large lanai had a view of the ocean and the property was well maintained. It was a very short walk into town to numerous shops and restaurants. We rented both sections of the condo- the main part of the condo with the master bedroom for us, and the studio section, which had it's own bathroom and kitchenette for our adult daughter. We all appreciated the washer/ dryer and the fully stocked main kitchen. The only negatives were the street parking, and the condo is on the older side. However, the amenities and location more than made up for those shortcomings. I would (and have already) recommended this property to friends.

The unit was extremely dated in furnishings and finish. The kitchen had a serious ant problem which required action every day. The fridge leaked water from the defrost cycle all over the food constantly. The dishwasher was not secured under the counter so as to allow it to be moved to open the fridge door. The unit smelled musty and old. the Living room TV was circa 1985 complete with a VCR. The 3 AC units were on one hour timers which saved electricity but never cooled the unit unless you ran around every hour resetting the timers. The unit was painted by someone who didn't feel inclined to move some of the furniture to do the complete job, as such they painted around a bed and all the toilets just not behind or just brushed over scraps and scratches but not the entire wall. or door.The unit is for sale but not an excuse to allow this condition, which is unfortunate.as the unit has really good potential. We would not stay here again even with the reasonable price!!
Thanks for sharing your little part of paradise with us. We loved it! It is the only place we have ever gone back to a second time.That says everything! The location was perfect, within walking distance to town....shops and restaurants and the farmers market, which we visited on a regular basis. Lots of room for visiting family and with three bathrooms, no line ups in the morning! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and then some. Very clean and quiet!
My wife and I and two college aged sons enjoyed a week at Connie and Larry's condo. We found this online and my brother in law who lives in Kailua-Kona vouched for the condo location. It is close to the downtown area and an easy walk to coffee and restaurants. The condo itself is large, well maintained and it has everything we needed for a week's stay. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. The wi-fi in the condo worked seemlessly. The condo is close to beaches and an easy drive to the Wapaio Valley and to the Kilawea volcano. The set up of the condo with the Junior suite separate from the Master suite allowed my wife and I to relax in our suite while the boys could come and go at their own leisure. We had a great week and highly recommend this unit.
Condo was in an excellent location, clean, quiet and roomy. The condo had everything you would need and even had beach chairs, umbrella, boogie board, etc. The condo's location is close to town where you can walk to shops, restaurants, farmers market, beach, pier, etc. Also, ideal location to travel to various locations on the island. I would definitely stay there again!
This condo is close to the main part of Kona town and within walking distance of just about everything. Great place to travel from to see the Big Island sights. We stayed on the master suite side and it had plenty of room, a full kitchen, 2 full baths and everything we needed for our stay.
