Owner is South Georgia attorney and judge who loves the resort amenities and beauty of Sandpiper Cove. Owner loves the fact that only at Sandpiper Cove can one enjoy the harbor/canal, private gated beach, great dinning, and golf in one resort. Owner's other vacation property was featured in Southern Living Magazine. Therefore, owner takes great effort to provide a unique upgraded atmosphere in this vacation property.

Why The Owner chose Emerald Coast-Destin Area

This unit has upgrades and views that are rare. It rests on saltwater boating canal. Teeming with boats, fish, and birds, it has commanding views of multiple holes of the golf course. Being a second floor unit, views of golfers, boaters, and wildlife is enchanting. Easy stroll to private beach, four star restaurant, tennis, 5 pools, and other amenities.

What makes this condo unique

This unit is in the middle of everything at Sandpiper Cove. Short stroll to all amenities. Sit on high end balcony furniture sipping a drink looking over boating, fish, wildlife, and golfers. Then get up, cut off the 42 inch LCD and take a short stroll to beach, dinning, golf, pools, hot tub, or boat ramp. Stroll up and down the harbor district taking it all in.

Had a little issue getting checked in because I did not have an email from owner, but guard shack let us have a pass anyway until they were able to reach him, which was just a few minutes. The condo was very clean. We had 4 adults in our group and had plenty of room. We took our bikes and rode to the beach daily, new rule this year no canopies however the chair rental company gave us two umbrellas for the day. The following days they were even kind enough to drill holes for the ones we purchased. Bring cash, you can rent kayaks, paddle board and the food hut only takes cash. Would definitely stay in this condo again.

Owner's Response: Very nice people who we enjoyed meeting. Unbenounst to us they for some reason did not have email with check in info that was sent prior to arrival. Upon arrival we got call from guard and they were set for a great week. Thanks for allowing us to share our family home away from home.

Great Condo. Great owners!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Sandpiper Cove! It was our first time to Destin and we would definitely stay here again! The condo was great and the owners were great! My boys spent their days on the golf course and loved every minute of it! The only suggestion I would make is while there are plenty of dishes in the condo, enough for 7, there really wasn't a skillet big enough to cook for the 6 people I needed to. So with that said, I bought myself a cook top grill/griddle that worked great and turns out I love using it at home as well. By no means was I upset about that. I assessed the dishes before shopping and knew what I needed. If you don't want to buy a pan, you might consider bringing one from home if you plan on cooking allot during your stay. We will come back to Sandpiper Cove and I would contact David's family again to see if his condo is available for sure! Thank you again David! We enjoyed our stay! The Youngs!

Owner's Response: Lovely family. Appreciate this independent 5 STAR Rating. Glad they had such a great time and enjoyed our condo that we have worked so hard to make top end. It was a pleasure getting to know this family and look forward to their return. In regards to cookware, we agree that there are enough dishes etc... for a two bedroom condo. We offer standard size cookware for our standard size stove. Stocking any larger grills or hotplates that could be knocked or pulled down and pose a hazard to renters is something we are not able to do due to safety considerations. We look forward to this great family's return.

Our best vacation!

we loved this place. We loved the cutest condo that overlooks a panoramic view of canal waterfront and well manicured golf course. We loved walking up the canal boardwalk to the harbor, watching the boats, birds, and fish.

Three minute walk to our own paradise private beach was a dream. Located in the middle of everything. The harbor was awesome.

Beautiful spacious condo!

We have stayed numerous times at Sandpiper and this condo by far was the most open, bright and beautifully decorated condo we have stayed in! The owners were very responsive to our needs. The only 2 negatives, if I could even give any, were that we were not able to connect to wi fi. The owner did try to help, but I believe the problem was that Cox Media just switched out all of the internet converters and it wasn't working with the router. Not a deal breaker, but my child couldn't get on his Xbox :)

Also, and this this has no reflection on the condo or owner, but it is an end unit on the canals' latter half towards the street. This area tends to bring up trash from the harbor and such. I feel since the condo owners pay hefty Home Owner's Association fees, Sandpiper Management should clean this out from time to time. Plus the road was a bit noisy with sirens. Again, the condo was so nice, it's not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of before you go.

Owner's Response: We appreciate that this is the nicest condo this renter has visited at this resort. We appreciate all the compliments about how nice, open, and clean our unit was. We also appreciate being recognized for being very responsive. While these renters called numerous times during Meal time and hours of worship, we would answer any questions, even if the same questions were asked multiple times. We have an it company that can fix wifi issues. This renter inquired through a text about wifi passwords. I responded. I then followed up to make sure it was working when I was texted back not to worry. If I knew a problem persisted then the it company could have been called at my expense. Likewise, if I knew there was debris from the harbor that drifted into the canal I could have called management to scoop it up. However, we have spent countless hours on that canal and have never seen anything but a top notch resort maintained grounds. In fact the unit is not only on the canal but in the golf course area which is kept pristine. Finally, the unit is not on any road. It is on the canal district and golf course. To get to the nearest public road you would have to go through another building containing four condo units, a golf green area, a private drive, a row of shrubs, a fence, and another row of shrubs before reaching scenic gulf shore drive. We love and appreciate our renters.

Best Summer Vacation!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful unit right off the canal!! The kids enjoyed seeing the different wildlife that greeted us every day. Ample amenities, including, but not limited to: easy and private access to the beach(right across the street), 5 pools within the complex, plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen, and friendly on site security!! Plus, everything was nice and clean!! It felt very homey. Did not want to leave at the end of the week! We will definitely be returning, and David, the owner, was very helpful and nice!!

Nothing but awesome

My family loves it. The unit is professionally done. The owner and his family are so nice (adorable kids). They have become friends. The interior is so clean and nice. Loved the nice ceramic floor and new furniture. This is the only unit I have ever rented at this price with original collectable art. I also appreciate the custom mill work and molding and paneling throughout. The owners went above and beyond with these quality touches.

We love the canal board walk park area below the balcony.
