This large and charming one bedroom apartment is on the second floor and overlooks a lovely garden courtyard. Light and airy and nicely appointed with modern and antique furniture, the flat has a big bedroom with a queen size bed and a spacious living room with queen sofa bed which can be closed off and function as a private second bedroom. High ceilings and walls 2 feet thick along with double windows keep it very quiet and cool in the summer.
The kitchen includes a cozy dining area and is fully equipped with dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker etc. Roomy closets, parquet wood floors, a washing machine and garden access are some of the amenities.
Ideally located a block away from metro stop Jiriho z Podebrad and close to several tram stops, this 1920’s historic building with elevator is in the lovely 2nd district, Vinohrady, in the heart of Prague. It's only a ten minute walk to Wencelas Square and the National Museum but away from the tourist bustle.
We had a fantastic experience in Prague and the Vinohrady apartment was the perfect compliment. Quiet, clean, comfortable and perfectly located to experience both sides of Prague- the popular tourist side as well as the quiet residential side. The apartment had everything we needed to feel at home and relaxed in a new place. The neighborhood was fantastic with plenty of excellent food (and coffee!) choices within an easy walk. It felt much like a quiet neighborhood in Greenwich Village or Brooklyn. The farmers market, the Zizkov Tower and seemingly endless coffee shops and restaurants made exploring the immediate neighborhood fun and easy. Close proximity to the excellent public transportation system made getting to the tourist attractions in the city a snap. The owners were responsive and very easy to communicate with and the local property manager was gracious and very helpful- even setting up our airport transportation before we arrived. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this apartment to anyone considering a visit to Prague.
This was the IDEAL apartment for us visiting Prague for 2 weeks. We were super close to everything but not at all in the touristy areas so we felt like we had a true "locals" experience. It's close to public transportation or easy < 1 mile walk to major attractions. There are lovely restaurants right outside the door as well as a near by grocery, farmers market and park. The apartment is HUGE! Easily could accompany a family of 4 or 2 couples. It has a washer/dryer and large kitchen and overlooks a beautiful yard. We had an amazing experience and highly recommend this beautiful apartment.
For our first time in Prague, we felt very lucky to have chosen this apartment. Located in the Vinohrady area, we were away from the main crush of tourists, even though we could join them by walking 30-40 minutes, or in much less time on the metro, which was a few minutes walk from the apartment. There is a beautiful park close by, with views of the old town and castle. The neighborhood is beautiful- each apartment building has its own character, and most appear to have been either recently redone, or are extremely well-maintained. It seemed that down every street there was a wine bar or a restaurant- lots of variety, and we found the quality to be excellent.
The apartment is spacious and, although not modern, very clean and in great condition. Adding to that is the eclectic art and furnishings that creates a very cool vibe. Communications with the owner were fast and efficient. We really appreciated the greeting and car services arrangements by Martina: she was very friendly and helpful.
W have had 12 wonderful days here. This apartment is perfect for people who want to be close to all the sights but away from the overwhelming crowds...and at times they are truly overwhelming in the old town.

The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. The metro straight to the old town is a 3 min walk.

Given the other ecstatic reviews, there's little more to say except that they are all perfectly true! A clean, spacious, well-equipped and charming apartment close to public transport. It's surrounded by supermarkets and specialist shops, cafes and a range of restaurants. The tram and subway stations around the corner mean that everything, including the city centre and main train station, are conveniently close. The manager, Martina, is delightful and helpful. It can accommodate up to five people. Great value for money! In Prague we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

My wife and I travel extensively and spend about half our time sightseeing and the rest experiencing the local culture. Prague is a great city but it also has some wonderful neighborhoods away from the touristy areas. Located very near the TV tower, we had easy access to the subway and trolleys that took you quickly to old town and the hordes of tourists. The neighborhood felt safe and had numerous shops and restaurants.
The apartment itself, was clean, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen had everything needed to cook complete dinners. Not a single complaint, except perhaps that the TV was in the bedroom instead of the sitting room. But we weren't there to watch TV anyway.
The owner, Tad, and the property manager, Martina, were both wonderful to work with. Martina, actually met us and saw us off at the curb to negotiate with the cabbies on a fair fare.

The apartment is located in the prestigious residential district of Vinohrady adjoining the center of Prague. Once known long ago for it’s hillside vineyards,
Vinohrady is a charming neighborhood with cobblestone streets and tree lined sidewalks, and great dining. There’s plenty to do with numerous shops and clubs and mix of trendy restaurants and local hangouts. A block away from the apartment is Riegrovy Park, with its delightful walkways and great views overlooking the city and its famous open air beer garden renowned for it’s entertainment and old bohemian atmosphere. A few blocks in the other direction is Prague’s landmark TV tower well worth visiting for its magnificent views. Around the corner is a great twice weekly farmers market.
Excellent parking is available nearby at Mr. Parkit garage.
