About Richard Stamp

I am a retired business man from the POS/cash register industry. I now manage our 6 vacation rental properties and try to find time to golf and travel with my wife. My wife, Deb is a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Richard Stamp purchased this cabin in 1986

Why Richard Stamp chose Lakeside

The location is incredible as it backed by National forest and is at the end of a cult-e-sac. It is very quiet and peaceful with great views into the forest from the covered deck.

What makes this cabin unique

We love staying here when we can and enjoying our home away from home.

We had the absolute best experience staying in this cabin! It's adorable, perfect for our big family! It was so cozy! We just enjoyed the outdoors and snuggled by the fire place at night! It was everything we imagined! We will definitely be going back! It is a little far from town, not that that is a bad thing...we just didn't realize how far initially! So get groceries and supplies first just to save yourself a trip!

Second time staying here--even better than the first

  • 5 of 5

This is a great cabin, in a peaceful location that is convenient to town and only about 35 minutes from Sunrise Park. The cabin is comfortable, clean, and very well-equipped. This was our second time staying here with friends--a total of four adults and four kids. The cabin accommodates all of us comfortably. Thanks for another great stay!

Our Wonderful Christmas Cabin

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is well appointed and accessorized for relaxing and for meal preparation. It has a charming and welcoming look and a variety of spaces for family gatherings or quiet book reading and reflection. The beds are ample and comfortable and are augmented with additional blankets, quilts and pillows. The cabin has multiple natural light sources and wonderful window views. The surrounding areas provide for leisurely morning and evening walks in a pleasant and clean air environment. Dick and Deb are proud owners focused on providing their guests with clean, well maintained and well furnished spaces for maximum leisurely enjoyment. This is the cabin you select if you want a no hassle relaxing get-away. Celebrating our Christmas here was one of the best gifts we gave to ourselves.

Getaway in the Pines

The sound of the breeze blowing through the pines. Good family times around the fire. Nearby hiking trails. A lovely log home that backs up to the forest. What's not to like??!!

Beautiful cabin surrounded by national forest

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I loved our stay at this cabin. It was spacious, well stocked, and decorated with lots of charm. The area was very peaceful and quiet with a view of the forest from the back porch. It was close to several hiking trails and only a short drive into town. Dick Stamp was a pleasure to communicate with.

We would definitely return in the future, and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing, nature oriented vacation in the Pinetop area.
