About Richard Stamp

I am a retired business man from the POS/cash register industry. I now manage our 6 vacation rental properties and try to find time to golf and travel with my wife. My wife, Deb is a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Richard Stamp purchased this cabin in 1986

Why Richard Stamp chose Pinetop-Lakeside

The location is incredible as it backed by National forest and is at the end of a cult-e-sac. It is very quiet and peaceful with great views into the forest from the covered deck.

What makes this cabin unique

We love staying here when we can and enjoying our home away from home.

Beautiful cabin surrounded by national forest

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I loved our stay at this cabin. It was spacious, well stocked, and decorated with lots of charm. The area was very peaceful and quiet with a view of the forest from the back porch. It was close to several hiking trails and only a short drive into town. Dick Stamp was a pleasure to communicate with.

We would definitely return in the future, and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing, nature oriented vacation in the Pinetop area.

Amazing stay again!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is large enough for my big family. This is the second time we have stayed here and will definitely return again. It is full of everything anyone would need. Dick the owner was a pleasure to deal with as well. Looking forward to next time as the stay always feels to short!

Soo Quiet!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I kept commenting on how quiet Sky Hi Retreat and the Stamp cabin were. We're from Phoenix, so it was so relaxing and easy to unwind up there at the cabin!

Loved this sweet cabin!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was perfect! Enjoyed sitting on the covered back porch and having a forest view. It's such a peaceful place! The country decor inside makes it so cozy. The fire pit outside gave us fun family time making s'mores and looking at the stars. Lots of room on the back porch for curling up with a good book, bird watching, or playing board games. Can't wait to go back!

Peaceful Cabin with Great Amenities!

  • 5 of 5

A wonderfully located cabin with all the comforts of home - dishwasher, washer/dryer, Dish TV, electric grill, etc. - but also very peaceful. Plenty of space for our children, their spouses, and our parents; Rain at least every other day and a nice fire pit for making s'mores. What a perfect family vacation!

Very well kept, comfortable and plenty of room for the family

  • 4 of 5

The cabin is in great condition, well maintained, and the beds are comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone and the owner was easy to work with.

The only concern was the staircase to the 2nd level is a bit tricky for little kids (narrow and a bit slippery) so for our particular group, it was something we had to be mindful of.

The patio is lovely and a great place to spend the day soaking up the cool mountain air.
