This wonderful condominium offers you the beach at your doorstep. “Sand Castle” is one of only a handful of properties on the Isle of Palms where you can walk off your screen porch and set your beach chair and umbrella on the beach.

As beautiful as the ocean is at Port O Call, you will find it hard to leave this condominium for its beauty inside. Ocean view, bright colors and wonderful furnishings are offered in every room. Even the kitchen shines with stainless steel appliances, new cabinetry and hard surface countertops.

The bedding is also amazing in “Sand Castle”, and features a king bed, a daybed and a pull out sleeper sofa. Port O Call features a private pool for the guests staying in this neat community, which is only yards away from the condo.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Overall we thought this was a terrific little unit. It was clean, cool, and comfortable with great natural light. The decor is charming and fun.

I can't think of any way to improve your reservations/front desk service.

My favorite beach stay ever!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay in Building F at Port O Call. Last October in 2016 we stayed on the third floor which had the most beautiful views as there was acess to a deck atop the screened in porch. This year for our October stay, we chose the first floor corner unit which offered immediate access to the beach right off of the screened porch. I will say that it was my favorite. Not only was it directly on the sand with immediate access to the ocean, it was extremely comfortable with all the comforts of home. I loved the beach decor and colors. If you plan on cooking, bring your own spices, which I believe was in the "what to bring" section. I personally spent the majority of my time on the porch drinking morning coffee while watching the most beautiful sunrises that you will ever see! During the day, my husband would set up for fishing while my 11 year old granddaughter would build "castles" in the sand. We plan to return next year to this same property and look forward to falling asleep to the close sounds and breezes of the surf! Oh, forgot to mention that the moonrise is just as spectacular as the sunrise! You can't get any closer to the beach than this because you ARE on the beach if you stay here!

The condo we stayed in was awesome due to its proximity to the beach and ocean.

  • 4 of 5

Overall, we would rate this vacation a 7/10. We would have liked more options for entertainment both in the wild dunes community as well as Isle of Palms as a whole. Condo 104F could use some updated living room furniture. Unfortunately, we were forced to evacuate four days into our vacation due to hurricane Matthew. We didn't buy insurance.

It was a great location!

We liked the fact that the condo was right on the beach! A few things in the condo were a little rough, especially the cookware, we had to go out an buy a skillet. All in all we had a good time, despite the weather--we were there for all the flooding a couple of weeks ago. The beach is fantastic.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your recent visit to the Isle of Palms and our condo. Guest feedback is critical to our staff and the property owner so that we can better make decisions regarding improvements to a property. I feel very strongly that any negative experience our guests encounter is unacceptable; not only to me, but also to our entire Beachside Team. Guest feedback is always appreciated and taken very seriously. Thank you for your time to share your thoughts with us. Our staff takes great pride in working with our guest to make sure they have a memorable experience. Our condo has a number of wonderful amenities. The oceanfront screen porch with steps down to the beach is a truly unique feature! In addition, the ideal location at the end of the building adds privacy and wonderful morning light throughout the living room. This condominium offers oceanfront living at its absolute best! Each winter, the property owner works on a handful of projects. With the help of your comments, we have prioritized several of these projects to include the upgrading the kitchen cookware and dishes. We are very excited about these and other upcoming improvements and hope that you will visit our condo again in 2016! Thank you again for your patience and we apologize that the kitchen cookware was disappointing. Our condo is in a fantastic destination with direct beach access and we look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Most comfortable bed and best view of the beach!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent a week at 104F Port of Call and found the unit to be in a perfect spot! It is very nice, clean, the porch is awesome, the view is marvelous and the sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep each night. We were completely relaxed. Thank you to the owners for sharing this treat. I hope we can come back next year!
