About Marilynn Farrow
Business & rental property owners-managers for over 30 years, David & Marilynn Farrow resided in North Metro Atlanta (Cherokee County, Georgia) until their recent move to Florida, within an hour of the condo. Providing excellent customer service has always been their focus. David Farrow currently owns and operates an appliance repair business in Milton, FL. He is a veteran of the US Army. Marilynn is a retired special needs preschool teacher. They have 3 grown sons and 1 grandson. David & Marilynn love the Lord and volunteer in their community in a variety of ways, including David's serving on the board of Grand Caribbean's Homeowner's Association.
Marilynn Farrow purchased this Condo in 2006
Why Marilynn Farrow chose Perdido Key
Perdido Key is quiet & peaceful, yet there are plenty of things to see & do & lots of restaurants nearby. The island of Perdido Key area is not as commercial or as congested as Panama City or Destin, yet it still has the sugar white sand beaches & emerald water for which the Panhandle is renowned. Without crossing a street, the Gulf is just steps away. Grand Caribbean is both family- and senior-friendly. And the elevator makes it convenient to get up to their 4th floor condo. David was born & raised in Pensacola. Marilynn grew up in Illinois and had never traveled to the Panhandle of Florida until she was an adult. They vacationed with family in several properties before selecting their Grand Caribbean condo as their 2nd home. They now consider their Perdido Key home-away-from-home one of their favorite spots on earth! They are blessed to have what they feel to be the premier unit in Grand Caribbean--top floor, L-shaped balcony, & best views!
What makes this Condo unique
David & Marilynn love to entertain family & friends on the balcony, one of the few in Grand Caribbean that has a dining table and 4 comfortable chairs. The private balcony is also a great spot for reading & relaxing & to enjoy Gulf breezes & Florida sunshine! Since the condo has an open concept design, Marilynn can visit with family & friends in the living room while preparing meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The dining area seats 6 at the table & 4 at the breakfast bar. There is plenty of room to sleep 6 comfortably--king bed in master, queen bed in guest room, bunks built into hallway, & queen sleeper sofa in living room. Being the top floor, there's no worries about hearing footsteps overhead. The Farrows like to take camping chairs their condo is equipped with down to the shore just steps away. From the shore, David goes surf fishing; Marilynn paints watercolors of local landscapes and wildlife (several of her paintings decorate the walls in the condo). They like to go on sightseeing trips & are always discovering something new about the Perdido Key & nearby Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, & Pensacola areas . For their guests, they've compiled a binder of brochures about their favorite spots--the Big Lagoon State Park, the Naval Aviation Museum, Gulf Islands National Seashore, to name just a few. On occasion, they're able to watch the Blue Angels practice from their balcony.

Very nice condo. Very close to BEAUTIFUL beaches.
The only problem about this condo was the TV’s were hard to get cable working. The TV in 2nd bedroom had no cable and only worked with dvds.
Rob-Ann, David and I are so glad that you appreciated our condo and its proximity to our spectacular beaches! The sugar white sand and emerald waters of this area of the Gulf of Mexico are so unique and special!
We were sorry to hear that you had difficulty getting the cable TV to work. It's a new cable provider and, evidently, there were some kinks that had to be worked out. There is a toll-free # available 24-7 that is provided to each of our guests in the event of a problem connecting. And, of course, guests have our #'s to call as well if the cable company is not able to provide a resolution.
Thank you for letting us know that the TV in the guest bedroom had no cable and only worked with dvds! We were not aware of that, and a cable box has been ordered. .
Sparkling clean and very comfortable.
We return year after year.
We love it
We had the best vacation ever!we just loved everything in lost key. The condo was perfect for my family! quiet and beautiful view! we definitely will be back soon.
Thank you Mrs. And Mr. Farrow
It was a pleasure to meet y'all too! 😍
Did someone say hurricane?
We booked this condo over a long weekend in Oct. The first day and a half the weather was perfect, the gulf a little rough, but all good. Needless to say we spent a lot of time in the condo as the hurricane came in all day Saturday and into the night. We never lost power and were about the only people in the condo units. We met nice owners and a few others that were staying. If ever you are there and renting during a hurricane, I feel pretty safe in this unit.
Very clean, very well furnished.
Clean, quiet, attractive. Beautifully decorated.
Great Vacation Stay
We have stayed here several times, always relaxing. Condos are great and pool and beach access are wonderful.
