Beautiful interior with hardwood floors, new kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counters and tin ceiling adds character. Property has a private back courtyard with decks on the first and second levels. There are A/C units in each bedroom and high-speed Internet!
Downstairs master bedroom suite has one queen bed and private bathroom with shower. There are two upstairs bedrooms with two twin beds in each bedroom, and another full bathroom with shower and tub. Sleeps 6 adults comfortably, and also has a queen sized aerobed suitable for extra kids.
This year was our second year at this house....we went last year and had to come back. Aside of the fact that Chatham is the most beautiful area....it's topped off with this wonderful vacation home.....and that's exactly what 759 Main Street feels like....a home. It's clean....comfortable and spacious!!! Very spacious.....we had visitors and always plenty of room.....there is also everything you need in this house from grilling equipment to beach chairs ..and washer dryer for when you need to throw a load on..a wonderful outdoor deck area for grilling out, enclosed for a great private feel......I honestly can't speak high enough about this place.....AND its pet friendly!!! I can bring my little baby boy:) for those of you that don't have a pet and maybe are hesitant of a pet friendly location.....you'd never know.....it's cleeeeeean.....my only hope is it continues to be available!!! If you stay here you'll be hooked too.....BUT don't get too hooked I want my space for next year....he he....enjoy:)
We booked a two week stay and really enjoyed how close the property is to town and the ballpark. Caught several A's games and walked to many of the great Chatham restaurants, shopping, and the movies. Great first floor master and upstairs bedrooms for the kids. Was great for a family vacation!
We were looking for a vacation rental in Chatham that would allow us to walk to town but was close to the beaches. It also had to accommodate my 2 teenagers and 2 Labrador retrievers, This house fit the bill and more. Even before we arrived, the owner was a pleasure to deal with. He was very responsive and thorough in answering our questions and provided us with a welcome letter detailing specifics about the house and the surrounding area. Everything from where to get the best lobster roll to area entertainment suggestions. The property was very well maintained, was clean, and well stocked when we arrived. The 2 upstairs bedrooms with small sitting room and balcony provided a private oasis for my teens. The master bedroom on the main floor was quite large and comfortable. Each bedroom was equipped with a window air conditioning unit. The back yard was enclosed with fencing and hedges and there was a communal side yard with grass. The only negative was the noise from the Main Street traffic and car dealer across the street. However, this was really insignificant in comparison to all the benefits of the in town location and the overall charm of the house. There was a small beach within walking distance which we visited daily, and the state beach was only a 15 minute drive. Would highly recommend!
This immaculate home contains everything you need to kick back and enjoy all there is to experience on the Cape. You are a short walk from the charming town of Chatham, complete with interesting shops and eateries. Walk or bike to the many beaches - ocean, pond or bay. Location perfect for day trips to Hyannis, Provincetown, and horseback riding in Brewster - all of which were highlights of our time there. The owner makes you feel welcome before you even sign on the dotted line. The information he provided allowed us to make the most of our trip. Our two kids (young adults) were able to join us for the week, and our most memorable nights were actually the ones we stayed in cooking together (our collective passion) and the well furnished kitchen made it easy to to do so. Village Market and cheese shop are a must for top shelf provisions and a very short walk away. Wonderful week and I would book same place again in a heartbeat.
