Our upper cabin was recently remodeled and is decorated in tasteful mountain decor. It combines the best features of a private, cozy get-away and the modern conveniences to which we have become accustomed. The cabin features a complete kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, and all the other amenities of your kitchen at home. Another wonderful feature are the heated tile floors in the bathrooms, especially nice on those cool mountain mornings.

This area is great in all 4 seasons.
Located close to all activities such as Merle Fest, Highland Games, ASU events, concerts and other events too numerous to mention.
I'll admit that at first we were disappointed that this was a duplex cabin and we would possibly have other people around us for our private getaway. It isn't advertised as a duplex cabin so be careful. We learned the hard way, finding out after I had already requested to book and my payment was in process!!! BUT, we lucked out and didn't have other guests staying below us! There is a cabin right beside us too and someone was there but was not bothersome to us. We really ended up enjoying our stay though! The king size bed was so comfortable, the couch not so much. We weren't bothered by it though! We just got in the bed and watched tv when we were relaxing! Cabin was very clean! Beautiful views out of the picture windows in living room/kitchen area. Hot tub was perfect and had great views of the stars, with the exception of the tree limbs hovering above the hot tub covering up the sky. Not complaining, it was still awesome! I would recommend this cabin for a few couples traveling together but not for just a one couple getaway. We still enjoyed ourselves, but will be looking for a private cabin next time because you can't always luck out like we did.
Beautiful property. It had a lot of dog hair on furniture and bed. We had difficulty with TV in the bed room. Management was great on responding to my issues.
We only stayed for three nights which was a tease of course. It's a lovely property that feels very out of the way while at the same time being very conveniently located. Both Boone and Blowing Rock take no time at all to get to. There are a total of three functioning units so if you had a multi family retreat where everyone could have their own space in mind, I'm sure it could be arranged with enough advance notice. The property manager and the others involved in operations were helpful and accommodating when we needed. I appreciate that more than I can say. Thank you.
Our time at this property was so incredibly peaceful. We plan to go back.
The location feels secluded yet is conveniently located near both Blowing Rock and Boone. The king size bed was very comfortable and the interior seems newly redone. We especially enjoyed the hot tub with views of the stars!
