Won't be going back

Overall it was a well cared for place, but we we're very unhappy with out stay. First time ever staying at a place I was pleased with! I had tried to reach out to owners days prior to our stay to confirm WiFi was working (as it said it was an amenity they had but reviews from previous renters said it didn't work). My husband and I were staying out first weekend away from our little one and it was important to have internet for contacting them because cell service is spotty in the mountains. they never did respond... And when we got there of course no cell service and the internet is too weak for that unit to connect. We almost just left and got a hotel because we were not comfortable not being able to be reached. Luckily, I found a small spot of cell service in the corner of the bedroom and left my phone there the whole time so I could communicate with family watch our little guy.

Another thing, there was no fire detector in the house! With it being a duplex and having a fireplace and space heater in our unit, it did not feel safe. If we had our little one with us we would've left for our safety.

Lastly, the duplex is not very sealed. Sound and especially smells traveled pretty easily up to our unit. Guess it depends on what your neighbors are cooking that day on whether it's pleasant or not to be there. There was definitely some funky cooking smells one of the days that was not enjoyable.

If you don't care about being "off the grid" but still not having privacy and aren't sensitive to smells...This is a good spot, otherwise look elsewhere.

100% recommended excellent location. We were with my wife and daughter very comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped with everything necessary, I will return for a next vacation because the town is spectacular and has a lot to do

Nice, clean cabin located near downtown Boone.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Copper Springs cabin. It was clean inside and it had a big fireplace with gas logs. The cabin is near a residential area but you still have a great view of the mountains from the living room window. It is a duplex cabin but it separate and private enough that we didn't

interact with the folks below. This cabin is on the top. The suggestions for visitors is that I would make sure the hot tub is working if that is a reason you are selecting this cabin. It never got above Luke warm. We did contact the owner and he promptly responded to let us know someone will be coming out to fix it. It was our last night of 2 night stay so it was too late that we figured out it wasn't fully functioning. I would stay here again if I knew the hottub was working.

The property was set back off the road and high on the mountain. Great view, awesome time! Me and my husband truly enjoyed our stay and it was very close to the store and blowing rock and boone! Thanks for an amazing get away stay retreat!
