You may hold dates if 90 days in advance or more with only a $500 deposit. If within 90 days full payment is due to secure reservation. IF Cancel within 45 days prior to your stay, any refund (other than cleaning fee and taxes) will depend if same dates can be rented by owner to someone else. Reserving ahead is highly recommended, even a year or so in advance. This not only gets you the dates you want but also locks in the price which as you can tell from my calendar with demand so high, it is very likely rates may go up. There are very few homes with a pool and other comparable amenities for rent in Tahoe and ALL that I have found have rental costs considerably higher then my home.
House History: Well people ask so here is. House built in 2000 and designed as a luxury vacation rental with amenities like no other. The designer had it right because what sets this house aside from so many other choices are the unique amenities. I bought the house in 2004 and still had guests on the calendar so I gave it a try. The house has always rented more often, far above other houses. When I decided to no longer use a management agency in late 2007 I forwarded the savings on to the guests. The house has since booked much more often than ever despite the economy. Everyone Loves the home, thousands of guests have stayed here! Pricing compares to houses similar in size but without the amenities. So why stay in just any house when you can stay in a 'Castle'? My best deals are if last minute, meaning within 7 days, when if you do not see dates booked then I will discount and make you a great deal! These deals are rare though so if you want your choice of dates plan well ahead. Always just ask me anything.
