The Sunset Bungalow is located on the Beautiful Pithlachascotee River in Port Richey, Florida. The home is surrounded by grand oak trees and a variety of tropical foliage. There are many species of birds and marine life to observe. The riverfront home has deep water access, minutes to the Gulf of Mexico. The area is perfect for boating, fishing and getting back to nature.
While shopping and sightseeing attractions are limitlessly within reach, the Sunset Bungalow is nestled within a boating community. We were so close to highway 19 and all the goings on, but this place in Port Richey was a little piece of paradise. It was quiet, and the river view from the kitchen was fabulous. We would watch the river come alive every morning with a cup of coffee. The boats, birds and even dolphins could be seen from our window. The owners were pleasant, and always there to help. The only negatives: because we had a handicapped person in our party, a few more channels on the TV would have been nice. Some of the double pane windows were no longer sealed which made it difficult to see out of them.
But I would recommend this place to any of my friends who want to just get away and relax.
A really nice, quaint home in the center of Port
Richey with access to anything you might want to do from theater to
sunbathing to fishing to shopping; great restaurants, a drive away from Disney, Sea World,
Busch Gardens....great tourist things to do too... Loved being here.
Listing and photo's were very accurate. Owners were Extremely helpful and courteous to me and my family. The house was in a perfect setting. Nice yard for kids to play, nice porch for sitting outside. It was so pleasant to have everyone together instead of splitting up in hotel rooms. The kitchen had everything with which to cook - we lacked for nothing during our stay in Port Richey. Nice neighborhood for morning walks or run too.
