Our family has been on crescent Lake since 1982. My parents built a house then, about 13 years later my husband and I built a house and when the next door cottage became available in 2008, we couldn't resist......
Beth Freeland purchased this cottage in 2008
We think this might be one of the best properties on the lake. Located in the cove it's quiet since it's a no wake zone of the lake.
But you get fantastic westerly views and beautiful sunsets.
It's just really beautiful and peaceful.
Just 2 hours from Boston it's a pretty easy drive. Close to ski mountains in winter and lots of fun activities on the lake in the summer. Screen in porch is a nice place to read and enjoy the view.
The house was so cute and the perfect size. Being right on the lake was amazing. House had everything we could need.
Just what I was looking for, a quiet week on a placid lake. Beth was a great hostess!
Quiet, tranquil well maintained property. Layout of home and yard affords for privacy. Screened porch for dining, overlooks the
The listing description was accurate. Owner really cares whether or not you enjoy your stay. Highly recommend this property.

The lodge was outstanding in terms of furnishing and location.
We had a great time in the lodge and used it as a base for local sightseeing.
Beth and her dad (Charlie) made us very welcome.
Exceptionally well-supplied home with everything one could need, --toiletries and hairdryer in the bath, staples and appliances in the kitchen, and thoughtful labels to identify all the light switches. We cooked every night, either on the stove or the grill. Nicely furnished and clean, clean, clean. A few little hiccups were addressed the same day. Beth communicates well and quickly. Be aware that cell signals are iffy at the house (non-existent for us) and throughout the area, but the WiFi at the house was excellent. As TV addicts, we enjoyed the extensive Dish channels. There are also lots of jigsaw puzzles and games. We found the mattresses a little stiff for our tastes, but that's a very individual preference. You are steps from the lake, which is beautiful and clean. The screened porch is wonderful, and the fire pit was a plus at night. Suggest you might want to buy firewood. The logs scavenged around the house tend to be damp and hard to keep burning. Despite being on the lake, we were amazed that there seemed to be no mosquitos. We hope to visit again next summer.
Explore NH and Vermont many things to do on day trips in the area.....lots of hiking, water sports
