After travelling much of Mexico, Puerto Vallarta always feels like home. Not too big to lose its charm, yet not to small as it has it's Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco, etc. when needed. The art shoppes, resturants, and available tours & nightlife are endless .... unless you stay every winter!!
- 15 minute walk to anything important
- FREE long distance calling
- Kids furniture: crib, playpen, booster
Kelly & Angela's condo, On the seventh floor is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay there so much - great terraces, fabulous sunsets, wonderful amenities, and quick walk to all that old town has to offer.
The condo is well equipped - loved that they have 2 coffee makers for us decaf and caffeine coffee drinkers! BBQ worked good for cooking fresh fish for dinners on the terrace. The unit looks just like the pictures....no exaggeration there!
The owners have a great property manager, Frederick, who met us when we arrived at Molino de Agua to check us in and show us around, and he was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay.
We look forward to coming back next year! Thanks, Kelly, for sharing your PV home with us!
This property is truly amazing. It is absolutely massive, enough that even with 6 people lounging you feel like there is a lot of space. We spent many mornings just lounging on the open air terrace, as well as evenings watching the fireworks from the pirate boat. The grounds are very inviting and we never had trouble finding a place to lounge, we typically headed down to the pool around noon. The pool is heated enough to slip in at any time of the day, but the sun hits the pool around noon to really make it inviting. The palapa bar at the pool is manned by a local restaurant and has the capability to cook simple items and mix basic drinks, they will serve the food to you poolside. The location of this property is great, you are right in the heart of old town, walking distance to everything. We only used a taxi once to load up on groceries the first day. It's really hard to come up with anything bad about this place, it is a bit expensive but seriously worth the cost, especially if you can split it 5 or 6 ways. If I can wrangle up another group of 5 or 6 for another year I would very much consider staying at Molino de Agua again.
This condo is an exceptional property. We were a group of 5 women (2 moms and 3 daughters in their 20s) and we LOVED Molino de Agua and its prime location. The unit is so spacious, the views are spectacular, and the grounds are pristine. There is no need for a car. We walked everywhere... Zumba was just down the street each morning at 8am. There is a wonderful bakery across the street and a multitude of wonderful restaurants within walking distance in every direction. We had all sorts of ambitious plans for excursions but once we settled in we got very lazy very quickly. I think they call it "sand gravity" The heated pool is really lovely and very large. The pool bar offers great drinks and food or you can just go next door to the Sea Monkey for food and their dollar Margaritas. The beach area was also very enjoyable for lounging. The beach right in front of the condo isn't very swimmable but if you walk about 10 minutes south you can find a much nicer swim area on Los Muertos Beach where you can enjoy the waves and boogie board if you like. Of course the Malecon is right in front for walks or morning runs. We loved taking the bus to Boca and hiking to Las Animas and then eating at the Ocean Grill. This was recommended by Kelly the owner and it was a very fun day. We also rented stand up paddleboards at the beach and had a very fun hour frolicking in the ocean. This place was wonderful on so many levels and offered us such a relaxing and fun experience. There are so many things we just didn't get around to doing so we definitely will be back and would highly recommend this condo to anyone wanting a wonderful Puerto Vallarta experience.
We walked in the door and our heart stopped so beautiful and majestic the view and the condo is. This open air concept is amazing if one wants to take in the sea, the town and the view all at the same time. Our family of 5 (3 children under 6) were traveling to PVR for the first time and were not disappointed. The grounds our immaculate and the pool was perfect for our young family. The location is ideal and easy access to everything. We did not even need to rent a car, walking, buses and taxis are readily available. The staff was very friendly and they have good knowledge of the whereabouts and are eager to help.
Will recommend for sure!
This is a 5-year-old condo complex in the very heart of old Vallarta. So you get all of the comfort of a new modern condo with all of the charm and quirkiness of downtown Puerto Vallarta.
If your idea of a Mexican vacation is staying inside of an all-inclusive resort and interacting with the rest of the folks vacationing there, this is not for you. There are plenty of nice places in Nuevo Vallarta that will meet your needs. However, if you enjoy wandering down side streets and exploring new places, but don't want to stay in a 40-year-old hotel with a new coat of paint, consider this condo.
Two full master suites with attached bathrooms, one bedroom off the main living space with an adjacent bathroom, laundry room with washer and dryer, fully equipped large kitchen, dining area, and living room, all very nicely appointed and decorated by the owners. The entire wall facing the ocean is comprised of enormous sliding glass doors, which slide out of the way to make the large patio a part of the living area, complete with gas grill and comfortable patio furniture. I can't say enough about how impressive this condo is, but I promise that the first sound out of your mouth when you step inside for the first time will be "Wow!" It really is that nice.
This condo is in a complex that is mostly owner-occupied, so it does not have a cruise ship / all inclusive resort vibe. There are no daily scheduled events, happy hours, theme nights, or any other organized activities. Instead, there is 24-hour friendly security personnel at each entrance that will call a cab or help schedule activities if you ask them to. This is very helpful should you choose to go fishing, whale watching, rent a car, etc. With a simple "Would you mind helping me....?", they will make the phone call, act as interpreter, and help you engage the appropriate folks to get what you're looking for. Or, once you step off the property, you can simply wander the markets, restaurants, and shops that are less than a block away, and extend for a mile or more in each direction.
The pool and grounds are immaculately maintained, and the swim-up bar just recently began offering daily food and drink service. This is through arrangement with a local restaurant, No-Way-Jose, and I hope this arrangement continues. It is a welcome addition to the pool experience.
Our family of four had an enjoyable Thanksgiving vacation. Our ten day stay at Auga de Molina was fantastic. The unit is spacious and well appointed. A large patio faces towards both downtown Puerto Vallarta and the Pacific Ocean. Amazing sunsets while sipping on margaritas each evening were the highlight of the day. The massive salt water pool and new pool lounging furniture were used daily by our crew. Auga de Molina's staff was friendly and knowledgable. Frederick, the property manager arranged for us to be picked up,at the airport and tacked grocery shopping on arrival. The best thing about the unit's location is that all the restaurants and shops of Puerto Vallarta are steps away. Kelly thanks for the amazing vacation we will be back.
