We loved your house in Falmouth.
The location was perfect – close to the beach, restaurants, stores and activities. We went to two Falmouth Commodore ball games my husband played for Sagamore back in the day. The wagons you provided for the beach came in very handy for all of our beach gear. Loved the wide screen TV in the living room and the added bonus of 3 out of 4 bedrooms having tvs was great. We were fortunate to have a hot, sunny week and the central AC was certainly welcomed. The kitchen was very well equipped – couldn’t really think of anything we needed except maybe a stool so I could reach the high cabinets – I’m short
A fabulous house for anyone! Thanks for sharing.
this house is perfection. I have stayed in many houses on the cape over the past 20 years and this house, by far, is the best.
It is spotless, on a child safe street with everything in the house you could need. The beach is within walking distance and there is a wagon for your convenience to carry things to and from the beach. As an added bonus, the 4th of July fireworks are at the
end of street. There are 2 restaurants within walking distance and Falmouth center is a short drive (10 minutes) If there are any problems, they are addressed immediately. I would highly
recommend this property
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, spacious home. Our family of seven had lots of room to spread out, and a large dining room table that sat us all. This house was very clean, which was great!! It had a fully stocked kitchen, lovely outdoor seating, and all the beach necessities, even wagons to bring everything down the short walk to the beach. An excellent location, close to dining, shopping, movies, and the Island Queen made this the perfect rental.
We had a wonderful family vacation in Falmouth Heights. The house is on a nice, quiet street with an open floor plan so that everyone could hang out together. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses and utensils. The air conditioning felt good after a beach day.
The location was perfect for us. We could walk back and forth to the beach (thanks for providing beach chairs and wagons to carry them in). We walked to the Island Queen ferry and went to Martha's Vineyard for the day. We also walked to the bike rentals and rode on the shining sea bike path to Woods Hole for lunch on another day. There are also restaurants within walking distance.
It was a great week in a great house.
We stayed for a week in the house with friends. We were two families, each with two kids under 5. The bedroom set up was perfect as there are two bathrooms upstairs (one is a large ensuite) and 4 bedrooms so it suited the two families perfectly. There is also a stairgate at the top of the stairs which was incredibly useful for us.It might be a good addition to the house to add a stairgate at the bottom of the stairs too as this would really appeal to families. Downstairs was all open plan and was spacious enough for us all. The kitchen had everything we needed in it - though there was no kettle which seemed a bit odd for us tea-loving Brits! The owner was incredibly helpful in the run up to our trip, answering all our questions and providing some additional linen as we were flying in from the UK. She also suggested a cot-hire company and we found a great one (Essential Rentals) which delivered the cot on the morning we arrived and picked it up when we left. There are a few places within walking distance which we tried. The British Beer Company was always full and we had a couple of nice meals there. They catered for the kids very well too. It was easy to walk to the beach, or we could walk for 30 mins to get into the centre of Falmouth where there were plenty more restaurants and shops to choose from. There's a great restaurant called The Glass House on the other side of Falmouth which was lovely. You can't book though so get there early. There is loads to do in the local area and a short drive away around the Cape. We had daytrips to Provincetown, Chatham and Plymouth which were all around 1- 1 1/2 hours drive away. If we were going back to the same area again, I would not have any hesitation about booking this house again.
Manditory cleaning fee of $150.00 per rental
