Notes:
Gas BBQ, TV, Large sun deck ** NOTE ** Lake Tahoe has initiated a NO LOUD NOISE PARTY ATMOSPHERE ordinance for Vacation Rental Properties located in residential areas, and have a no tolerance policy. They stated that if they are called, they will fine the tenants, as well as the owners, and could refuse to renew the owners rental license..After numerous years of renting with no problems had a renter issued a citation for $250.00. They supposedly got a little loud while having a good time BBQing on the cabin deck..

Great property!

This was my family's first actual stay through vrbo and it was incredible. The house was amazing and was a great location. We could not have been more pleased.

The cabin was really nice! We enjoyed being able to walk down the road and find a sledding spot.

Overall the cabin was what was described and we really enjoyed it. It has a lot of space and having a fire place was great! The only issue we had was the driveway. The cabin is on a decent hill so it was really tricky to park in the driveway or the garage with all the snow on the ground. It does not have a heated driveway so we had to shovel the snow off several times. It is narrow and has a sloping small cement wall that sticks out from the garage about 3-4 feet that separates the two garages. It gets covered up very easily with snow so it you did not know it was there you could easily run into it and damage your car. This parking issue did not dampen our stay at the cabin. I just wanted to let future renters be aware of it especially those who rent it in the winter. Again, we really enjoyed the cabin and we would stay here again. It is very close to Heavenly Village and the Casino's.

Great choice

  • 5 of 5

We've had our first trip to Lake Tahoe this month of August. Traveling 7 persons, 5 adults and 2 kids (8 and 3 yo) we decided to rent a cabin so we could spend our vacation all together rather then be separated in some hotel rooms.

Our choise of this cabin was great! First, the pictures on the website do justice in reality: everything was as described. Second, the location of the cabin is fantastic! Beautiful forest, fresh air, gorgeous atmosphere to relax. Rooms and baths were clean, everything arranged for you to feel welcomed. We didn't use the sauna. Nice to have one though :)

There were extra clean linens, pillows, and towels available (we didn't use the extra ones), extra blankets. I liked the kitchen and everything in it, very handy! Having a bbq grill available on the patio it's just super! We bought charcoal from the local store and enjoyed our evenings by the fire. So relaxing!

The stereo system was nice. We didn't use the tv, just to have more family time. The fireplace was beautifully done; however, didn't use it either. We spent our evenings mostly on patio by the fire. There are even some family games, some incomplete, but fun! :)

The garage is open, no doors, but not a problem at all, is like a covered parking.

A couple of big stores are near by where you can buy groceries, souvenirs, everything you need for the stay. They even sell hot soups to go. We were buying hot soups for lunch, not bad at all and very convenient.

The cabin is really close to Heavenly Village, a place full of cafés, gift shops, gondola ride (breath taking), general store. Beaches are close, around 10 mins drive. We were at Zephyr Cove (Queen Tahoe cruise, we didn't take this time), Sand Harbor Beach (such a beautiful view!), and Emerald Bay. There are a couple more beaches we didn't have time for, definitely next time :)

Gary, the owner, was very responsive, by e-mail, text messages, and phone. He even allowed us to check in earlier then 3 pm; well, we've arrived around 2pm anyway since we've stopped on our way in Hawthorne at the Military Museum and spent there some time. Quite fascinating place! Anyway, Gary was always in touch, which we really appreciate.

It was a beautiful vacation in such a gorgeous corner of nature and our stay at this cozy cabin just made it more comfortable. We definitely will come back to this place again!

Tahoe Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Recently stayed at this cabin with our 3 children (11, 9 & 5 years-old) and it was more than enough room for the 5 of us. We enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace in the living room and the kitchen was up to date and had all the necessary utensils and cookware to make a home cooked meal. Grocery store and shops were just down the hill. We were able to maneuver our minivan up driveway but wouldn't dare be without tire chains just in case. Best of all, are the small hills and slopes surrounding the cabin and across the street. My kids had the best time with their sleds, building snowmen and igloos, and making snow angels. It was like having our very own snow park right outside our door. Gary the property owner was great and was easily available should we need anything. We can't wait to stay here again:)

A great stay! Highly recommended.

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at this property. It had everything we needed. It was roomy with 3 bedrooms and a large living room. A formal dining room, inside laundry and two bathrooms. It is located in a quiet, beautiful area and within walking distance to a couple of stores. The home was well stocked with everything we could need for cooking and to bbq. We didn't need to, but we could have. The front door code worked easily and the home was extremely clean. There were plenty of towels, brand new soaps and lots of extra bedding. I wish we were able to stay longer. It was so cozy and peaceful. I will definitely return for a future visit. There ARE many stairs leading up to the front door, so be sure stairs are not a problem for you.
