Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood with a large backyard on the lake. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine on the screened-in porch complete with ceiling fans. Tie up your boat or jet skis in the backyard so they are easily accessible for that early morning glass. Try your luck at fishing. Sunbathe in the backyard or on the deck at the end of the pier. Bring your own tube!!
My husband and I, our 2 small Kids (5 and 2) and my in-laws all stayed in the house for a short summer vacation. There was plenty of space and Cindy was more than willing to help us with a bed rail so our youngest didn't fall out of bed. My kids LOVED fishing and the huge backyard. We bought a small sprinkler from Walmart to let them play on the grass when they were not fishing. My father in law and husband had a blast getting up early in the morning to catch fish - especially the catfish - since they had a competition who could catch the most. My 5 yr talks about coming back here next summer when he is 6 a better fisherman than daddy and grandpa!
The review written by Nichol W, Lake Jackson, TX says exactly my opinion also. My wife and I have stayed in seven different rentals in N.B. and this is the best. I recommend it highly.
The pictures don't come close to doing this home justice. It is WAY more spacious and beautiful in person. We stay a week in NB every year and this is BY FAR the best rental in the Hill Country. The home is stocked like no other. Literally, all you need to pack is clothes. Everything from first aid, to laundry detergent & softener, a FULLY stocked kitchen with everything you will need, and yes, even bath salts. The master bathroom is gorgeous, as well as the rest of the house. Every bed is super comfy. It was the best most relaxing week ever. Thank you, Sam, Renee, and Cindy for a wonderful vacation!
We enjoyed our stay at Renee's Retreat. Although the weather was just so so, we were able to visit with friends from our ten year residence in Texas. The house was lovely, the porch was great and loved the goose that came to visit us every day. Our stay was relaxing and very pleasant. Tom & Elsie
New Braunfels is home to the Comal & Guadalupe Rivers. The Guadalupe breaks up into three chain lakes: Lake Dunlap, Lake McQueeney & Lake Placid. These bodies of water are great for tubing, water skiing, fishing & jet skiing. Visit the historic town of Gruene, offering great restaurants & home of Texas' oldest dance hall, Gruene Hall. Schlitterbahn & the Outlet Malls are a must. Come see what it's all about!
