|Minimum Stay||7 nights|
Formerly rented by the U.S. Secret Service for several seasons, we are now doing weekly & monthly rentals. Our waterfront home is surrounded by water and has ocean, island and lighthouse views on a quiet tidal cove. Located on 4 acres in Cape Porpoise, a small fishing village in Kennebunkport. Our property is on the end of a private road so there is plenty of privacy. The house looks directly towards the water so at high tide you can take in the water views and feel like you are away from it all. We have our own pier and float where you can bring or rent a kayak, canoe or boat & explore Cape Porpoise Islands. A great place for kids to swim, or fish for crabs off the end of the pier. Fully equipped galley kitchen. Dining room, family room and living room with water views. Sleeps 6-3 bedrooms: master w/ fireplace & water view. 2 full baths. Back porch & deck, front porch/ deck overlooks water. Sorry, No Pets.
Less than a mile to Cape Porpoise village, you will find eight restaurants, a grocery store, library and art gallery. It is a scenic walk to the local pier where you can fish or watch the lobstermen bring in their catch. A three mile drive to Goose Rocks Beach, Kennebunk beaches and Kennebunkport center.
"We've had a great time, we discovered the cape porpoise islands and the sandy beaches at low tide, the water is so clear and warm and we love the quiet location here at the house."
This beautiful home situated on a private cove, has a fantastic view of the water along with Goat Island Lighthouse and the other islands. As you take in the view, your troubles seem to melt away into the gorgeous sunset over the cove. The perfect getaway for sure! This home is tastefully decorated, spacious, comfortable & immaculate. The grounds are beautifully maintained and so inviting with Adirondack chairs, a swinging hammock and our favorite long dock which juts out over the calm ocean bay. This served for us, the perfect place for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
As a tour director, I am very particular about selecting the right spot for my vacation. We found this home to be in the perfect location, only minutes to beaches, restaurants, grocery store, the famous Dock Square and Franciscan Monastery. The owners are very pleasant, helpful, and go out their way to make things comfortable. We will surely be back. We highly recommend this spot. You won't want to leave!
We come to Maine every summer. This is the nicest house and in the best location we've stayed in. The owners are very very nice and keep the house in impeccable condition. Couldn't be better.
Very clean, lovely home. Great location out of Kennebunkport, but loved Cape Porpoise. Did not realize dock was shared with cottage, but it did not distract from our enjoyment of the house.
We loved the house. It was roomy for our needs. With 2 little girls and 4 adults, it was nice to have all the extra space. We loved that the house was so close to the water. We enjoyed kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. The girls loved swimming in the water by the shore. It was like our own private beach.
The kitchen is well stocked with every thing you need to cook meals. We were so impressed with the pans and options available to us. We enjoyed many fine meals.
The house is also close to the wharf and other great restaurants. And it was close to the 2 major beaches nearby. It was an ideal spot for a family vacation. We created many family memories that week. We will definitely return to this spot again in the future. I would highly recommend this spot.
The home, the setting, the bay and ocean view for the property at Paddy Creek was spectacular. We very much enjoyed being able to kayak and paddle board from the dock and from the water front that was right at our door step. Our two young grand daughters loved playing and swimming by the rocks and the gentle bay and we all enjoyed the near by beaches. We ate at several nice outside restaurants and also picked up cooked lobsters to go less than 5 minutes from the house. The house was very clean, extremely comfortable and well appointed. It was as if the owners, Joan and Phil, had simply let us stay in their house for the week. We have already booked our stay with them for next year.
We have been renting a house on Turbat's Creek for nearly thirty years. This year we moved to Joan and Phil's house on Paddy's Creek as we needed a larger house. This house and property exceeded our expectations in every way. Joan kept us informed prior to arrival so we could check in without delay, she called to make sure everything was in order soon after arrival and kept in touch throughout our stay (in a non-intrusive way). The house has everything you could need or want. The pier was perfect for our Whaler and kayaks (brought our own). Although there were TV's everywhere, we never watched them. It was nice to have the washer/dryer so we could keep clothes clean. Our son-in-law was able to use the small office to conduct his IT business while the rest of us were able to read or play games without distracting him. The porches are wonderful, both inside and out. Our grandkids loved watching the tides come and go. We spent lot's of time on the water, fishing, swimming, kayaking, etc. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay and look forward to coming for more time next year!

Our property is surrounded by water and is the last property on the end of a private road - so there is plenty of privacy.
