Overall impression was perfect week.

  • 5 of 5

This is our second summer at this beautiful spacious house. Its just like walking into your own home. We love the winding road that takes you to the house. They have supplied any and everything you could possibly need, Wish we had spent more time at the house than all the running around we did. We also enjoy renting a boat and riding all day on Lake Chatuge. I highly recommend Boundary Waters Marina. You cannot go wrong renting a boat from this marina. First rate! Great boats, Service, and Friendly staff. We had a great time and will probably return again next summer! Only wish Mr. Massey allowed dogs. We hate having to leave them behind. Thanks for great week.

We stayed there for a couple's retreat

  • 4 of 5

The pictures don't give this cabin justice, it was simply breathtaking!!

We planned this trip, then my brother-in-law passed away and we didn't know if we were going to by able to make the trip. I'm so glad we decided to come, because we really needed this getaway. If we had any questions, Robert answered them quickly and effectively.

The mountain climb up was very STEEP, but since I had read other reviews we were prepared for it and drove my husband's truck.

The cabin was well stocked with everything you needed.

We'll definitely be coming back.

Beautiful Mountain Home

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed staying at this house. Very well equipped. Two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs with two living rooms. The owner was very responsive to our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

Disappointed for the price

  • 2 of 5

The drive up was a little steeper than expected and the view was less than expected. The cabin was nicely decorated for Christmas ( Christmas tree was ordinarily small 4 ft high in a room with 25 ft ceilings) but is secluded. The king beds are extremely hard. The water pressure is lacking ( while showering if a toilet is flushed watch out ). We lost almost all water pressure in the kitchen twice and the cabinet fronts and handles need cleaning. The hot tub got hot but had something floating in it. The floors and under the beds needed vacuuming. The owners did call to make sure we arrived and did provide firewood. We were extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of the property for the price on our Christmas visit. In order to change the channel on the television you had to go into the pantry. We have owned and visited vacation rentals for years.
