This beautifully decorated 2nd floor loft offers total privacy and open space for your dream getaway. Walk out your door and visit the neighboring galleries and their events. Close the door to the deck and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee, or gather for a family BBQ.

Modern conveniences include an industrial kitchen, huge light filled tiled bathrooms, vaulted ceilings w/fans (there is central air, too), wood floors, wonderful furnishings, plenty of windows and skylights, incredibly comfortable beds, pillows, and linens, and so much more.

Property abuts the historic Tabernacle grounds where you can walk through the gingerbread cottages and gardens or attend a summer concert or other entertainment. Be right in the center of Illumination Night or the extravagant annual fireworks. Ten minute walk into town to meet friends at the harbor for dinner/drinks at one of the many restaurants, shopping, groceries, kids to the game room, movies, Flying Horses Carousel.

Walk to the beach and take advantage of all the activities you can imagine....or simply do nothing. Bike rentals nearby. No car necessary although parking is available. (Please, no pets, or smoking.)

Why Annie Parr chose Massachusetts

Location! As an interior designer I wanted to create a boutique rental experience for my guests. In 2017 I added this Alluring Garden Apartment to the property (listing # 4458257)

What makes this apartment unique

This 3 Bdrm Apartment can be rented along with my 1 Bdrm Garden Apartment (property # 4458257) to accommodate larger groups or extended families. If this feature suits your needs it would expand your usable private outdoor space by adding an additional courtyard and garden area, normally shared by my two rentals.

Terrific location

  • 4 of 5

Our family of 6 adults stayed here over the labor Day Weekend. It is decorated with care and the layout allows everyone to be comfortable. Great Kitchen. It is in walking distance to town and the beaches for those early morning runs.

The best surprise was being next to the Tabernacle and the delightful 350 gingerbread cottages that make up the "Methodist Camp" We walked a different path every day through the camp back to the house. This would be a terrific choice for a stay on the Vineyard. A gracious owner and we felt warmly welcomed.

Super cute accomodations

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this property during the second week of June and had a flawless visit. The spacious apartment is as described, and actually even cuter in person! I am a frequent renter of VRBO homes for vacation and have never been in such a well appointed apt. - the kitchen has everything you would need! If you don't feel like cooking, everything is withing walking/biking distance. Great property and the landlord was super easy to deal with!

Can't wait to come back next year!

  • 5 of 5

I can only echo the positive reviews before mine. Starting with Ms. Annie - every interaction with her was a pleasure, in fact, next time we go, we want to have a wine night or dinner with her :) Ms. Annie is very professional, was great at answering all my picky questions about expectations and the house/loft/apartment. She always answered in a timely manner and was clear about the terms. She offered so many great recommendations, advice, and gave us a cool tour of the home and told stories about the decor in it. Couldnt have asked to deal with a better homeowner.

Now to move on to the property. The property is fun, spacious, tastefully decorated, and even better than the pictures (if you can believe that). It beyond exceed what i saw, and hoped. The description she gives is spot on, there were no surprises, disappoints or wishes unmet. The house is just a walk to the bus, beach, middle of Oak Bluffs, and right next to so many lovely gingerbread cottages! Ms. Annie thought of every need in this home, a radio for the bathroom, cooking gadgets and spices galore for the kitchen, beach chairs, coolers, outdoor space, books of every genre (i read two while i was there!).

This was exactly the environment i was wanting for our fun yet relaxing beach weekend. We already enrolled friends to come with us next year, everyone cant wait!

Thank you for everything Ms. Annie, Tiffany and Mike.

Pure bliss!

  • 5 of 5

I miss this place already! I was blown away after seeing the loft in person. It is absolutely breathtaking. Every decorative detail made our stay more enjoyable and memorable. I found all of the furniture and bedding to be extremely comfortable and of high quality. The kitchen and dining areas were stocked with supplies for every cooking activity imaginable. The private bed and bath were perfect. The skylights throughout the loft were refreshing. The WiFi was a plus! The location is within walking distance to town. Annie is the easiest owner to deal with as she is very attentive, responsive and reliable. I recommend the loft for couples, a girls getaway and mature families. I would stay here over and over again. I hated to leave.

Perfect Stay!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first visit to Martha's Vineyard, and our first time using Homeaway, and Annie's loft helped make both experiences wonderful. Annie takes the phrase "home away from home" seriously. The loft is on the second floor, above her office, so there's a lot of privacy. We only saw Annie twice during our 7 day visit and felt as if we were staying in our own home. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the main part of the loft; a short walk across the outside deck brings you to a third bedroom/guestroom and private bath. The main loft has a living room, sitting room, dining room, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen, two bedrooms and a second large bath. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to avoid eating out. There's a large refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, wine refrigerator, Keurig coffee machine, traditional coffee machine, coffee grinders, tons of dishes, glasses for all your drinking needs, utensils, vases in case you desire fresh flowers and a lot of storage space. We live in Manhattan, where our kitchen is tiny, so we were quite content in Annie's kitchen! There are a lot of windows, so we rarely turned on lights during the day. A lot of seating, so if you're a family, you can gather around the kitchen table or find your own quiet spot in the living room and sitting room. Televisions in the living room, guestroom and larger bedroom - we only used them a few times to check the news. I'm not sure my husband and I have relaxed this much on vacation in 20 years! Highly recommended. We hope we'll be able to book the loft again in the future. We think it'd be a perfect place to stay with our nieces if they visit in May or September (when the Vineyard isn't as crowded as summer).

We loved it here!

  • 5 of 5

We travelled to the Vineyard for a family wedding and were very happy we chose to stay at this absolutely charming place! Annie greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was just perfect - lots of comfort, charm and detail in every corner. We definitely made use of the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, and enjoyed soaking in the lovely claw-foot bathtub. The location was excellent - we were able to walk into town, and were centally located for all the many family activities of the weekend all over the island. I hope to be able to return for a longer stay.....
