The apartment is located on the ground floor of a building, overlooking the village and water. The double bed is 120cm wide. There is a good place to fish nearby and a motor boat (10hp) can be rented. Several beautiful beaches are nearby. This area is known for its beaches and hiking trails. Emperor Wilhelm II stayed there several times in the 19th century. A commemoration in his memory (the Keisermarsjen) takes place every year in July. It is a good starting point for excursions through the Lofoten Islands. Svolvær is 80km away. Several fishing villages are located along the coasts. Vesterålen is further north. From the village of Andenes one can make excursions at sea to see the whales. Also visit the abandoned fishing village of Nyksund, north of Langøya Island. From Nyksund hiking itineraries lead up to Stø.
