The cottage was purchased and remodeled in 2008. Troy and Kirsten have always loved Livingston and wanted a place for their 'mini vacations' from Bozeman. The house was remodeled with the environment in mind using green and reclaimed materials. Troy has been a stone mason for over 20 years and is responsible for the stonework that makes the cottage extra charming. Kirsten and Troy have traveled extensively and have filled the cottage with all of the things that they have found make their travels easier. You will love this place!
My husband, dog, and I stayed for his birthday and this house was exactly what we were looking for. Within walking distance to everything, very nice amenities (the pictures don't do it justice!) and all around a great respite after a long hike or a day out on the river. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to friends and family. You'll love it!
We loved this modern yet artsy cottage which is impeccably maintained. The location was perfect and it had all the amenities we needed. Livingston is a wonderful town with so much character, and we were so glad to stay where we did.
This house was perfect for our visit. My husband and I (with our dog) took a road trip from Wisconsin to Montana to attend a wedding and to see our grandchildren. This house was perfect for our needs. It has been beautifully remodeled and the decor is unique and wonderful. It was great to have a washer and dryer. The place is comfortable and very clean and organized, with a convenient location just minutes from downtown Livingston and all the great restaurants and shops. Enjoyed breakfast (and lunch) at the Beanery and great sandwiches and ice cream at the Pickle Barrel. The Stockman was great for burgers. We were able to easily walk the dog and found a great park just blocks away. This home in "real-life" looks even better than the photos provided on VRBO. There is no driveway, but we were always able to park directly in front of the home. The weather was very hot during our visit and the window air conditioner kept us comfortable. Andrea was easy to work with and replied quickly to any questions. We felt totally at home, slept great, and will definitely book again for future visits.
We enjoyed our stay. Having the kitchen and outdoor space was much nicer than a hotel. The kids loved the upstairs, even though it was pretty warm. One window needs a screen so we could have opened it and for safety. Overall, nicely renovated with many small, thoughtful touches that made for a nice stay.
Nice place. Very well appointed kitchen - spices, olive oil, and a French press. There was firewood to the side of the house to have a nice little evening firepit on the patio. Close to downtown. Comfy couch, great little backyard for breakfast outside. I can imagine the upstairs can get really hot in the dead of summer, but the tiny ac kept us cool. Bedroom is tiny, but we just slept closer together. Pug dog loved it, and had a nice stay. Very clean. Low maintenance owners. We Recommend.
