Wonderful Host

  • 5 of 5

Over the years I've stayed in dozens of AirBnb and Homeaway apartments and Michaela was by far the nicest host I ever met.

One day there were repairs being done on the building's gas installation and there was no gas in my apartment for 2 days. Michaela did way more than anyone could have expected to make up for it.

I've really felt at home here and I'm sad that I have to change apartments because she has other guests coming in. I would have happily stayed longer!

Perfect infrastructure. Central Station, Belvedere Castle, Botanic Garden, the world-famous Swiss Garden, House 21 (Museum of Contemporary Art), the Hotel Daniel and the Military History Museum can be found in the immediate vicinity.

AIRPORT: If you are flying to Vienna, I recommend either a TAXI or the City Airport Train (CAT) or the train to the apartment.

1) From the airport is a taxi takes 15 minutes to the apartment and the journey can easily be booked online or by phone. Airport taxi company there are several: airport driver. at +43/1/22822, vienna-airport taxi. at, totally taxi. at, vienna-cab taxi. at, airport taxi-vienna. at, 0699 10887381, airport-taxi-vienna. at / fixed price. Prices range between 25 and 34 Euro per trip. The trip must be booked well in advance necessarily (by phone or online).

2) By public transport ride from the airport to the apartment and vice versa takes about 40 minutes.

FROM the airport to the apartment: the City Airport Train (CAT) goes to Wien Mitte highway, from there either by tram line O towards Vienna Migerkastraße to Fasangasse (get there, nor 50m from the apartment), or with the train S-Bahn S3 or ÖBB-line after "Quartier Belvedere" (still 100m from the apartment).

Or directly from Vienna airport to the train S-Bahn S7 direction Floridsdorf Vienna Vienna St. Marx Bio Center and from there take the tram 18 direction Burggasse-Stadthalle U to Fasangasse.

From the apartment FOR airport: either the train S-Bahn S3 (train station "Quartier Belvedere" equal to the apartment) to Wien Mitte, then take the CAT on, or by tram 18 direction Schlachthausgasse U from Fasangasse to Vienna St , Marx S, from Vienna St. Marx Bio Center with the S7 train to Vienna airport.

Note: As of November 2014 can be the station's quarters Belvedere '(200m from the apartment) directly from the airport without having to change quickly and easily reached.

If you arrive by train from Central Station, you need only 5 (tram) - 10 (walking) minutes from the apartment. Either you take the tram line 0 in the direction Praterstern S + U or line 18 towards Schlachthausgasse U and go 2 stops to Fasangasse. Disembarking, then traverse only across the street, you're in the Hohlweggasse where house number 37, the second House is on the right.

On foot you need about 10 minutes: out of Central Station, then turn right towards Belvedere Hotel Daniel (sailboat on the roof), both past, after the Hotel Daniel is the Hohlweggasse the third Lane on the left; 2. House on the right. -

AUTO: The cheapest option is the parking garage Park + Ride Erdberg on Franzosengraben 2 in. 3 District (1 day: 3 €, 1 week: € 14.80, 1 month 55 €), which is also equal to the A23 motorway exit St. Marx is easy and fast to reach. There you will find the U3 Erdberg. Here it goes with the subway to Ottakring one station to the slaughterhouse alley, and then take the line 18 direction Burggasse - Stadthalle U to Fasangasse or up to the apartment (50m). Duration: about 25 minutes. -

The nearest parking just around the corner from the apartment can be found in the parking garage car Cleanic®, Trubelgasse 7, 1030 Vienna. ATTENTION: The opening times are from Mon-Fri, 8 to 18 clock, closed on public holidays (1 day 15 € 1 week: 65 €, 2 Weeks 95 €, 3 weeks:.. € 120, tel nr 01 / 798 74 53) !!! -

Another (but more expensive) parking is possible at the parking garage Theresianumgasse in the favorite street 36 / corner Walter Gasse 1, 1040 Vienna (. 1 Hour: 3,40 €, daily maximum: 34 €).

Or the garage Rennweg, land Hauptstrasse 146-148, 1030 Vienna. From there you can take the tram 18 direction Burggasse - Stadthalle U from Viehmarktgasse to Fasangasse reach the apartment quickly and easily without having to change in 15 minutes. -

Parking in Vienna can be difficult and expensive. Parking permits for the road are (100 meters from the apartment - Landstraßer belt) in tobacco shops, gas stations and sold in some ticket offices. You can park up to 15 minutes free when you create a free ticket into the car. Always put a parking ticket in the car when you park. If you need to park for more than 2 hours in a parking zone, we recommend that you visit the nearest parking garage, because the road zones are often controlled.
