Cottage, 3 Bedrooms + Loft, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 7)
The owners met here in Hartley Beach and have been married ever since.
Karen purchased this Cottage in 2003
Why Karen chose Huron
We chose to buy this cottage because of our family and great neighbors who live on this private lane of a dozen houses.
What makes this Cottage unique
It is truly special to find the friendly vacation atmosphere that this neighborhood has. Lake Erie is a powerful attraction that you have to experience to understand. Year round, this is our idea of a get away!
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
This rental property was very, very nice. Right by the lake. Beautiful sunrises. Great modern updated kitchen, anything you would need. Owners were super to deal with. Enjoyed our stay tremendously!
This place was absolutely amazing. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful place to enjoy Lake Erie.
Beautiful location with relaxing view of the lake. House is immaculate and just as described. Would stay there again!
The Rossi cottage is a beautiful, pristinely clean, and welcoming place to enjoy Lake Erie. The owners are quick to respond to communication and are extremely accommodating. Our party of seven comfortably enjoyed the many amenities including: high-quality linens, a well-stocked kitchen, the lovely deck with propane fire table, fun family board games, and proximity to local attractions. Thank you Rossi family for a relaxing and fun vacation in your lovely cottage!
The Rossi Cottage is a fantastic place to stay in Huron. The house was exceptionally clean and the most well stocked house I have ever stayed in. The quality of the incredibly stocked kitchen was fantastic. For example, the plates were Pfalzgraff!! Most places are mismatch plates and glasses - not here!!! The beds were very comfy and the sheets were so soft. The towels were just as soft in the cabinet in the bathroom. The view from the deck is superb. The porch was full of seating to take in the views. The waves were so calming to sit and watch and listen to at night. There are several things to do in the area. We took the ferry to Kelley’s Island for the afternoon. We ate at Kelley’s Island Winery. It was fantastic!! The cheese, wine, and grilled cheese were tasty. Another day we went to the park in Huron for the Second Annual Huron Lakefront Market. Food trucks and craft vendors filled the park. The Cle Chicken food truck had amazing chicken sandwiches. The vendors ranged from antiques to jewelry to clothing to original paper prints. We had a wonderful time at the cottage and out and about. We plan to make another trip from southern Ohio to Lake Erie to stay here again.
R&R at the Lake Cottage
Karen and Mark were easy to work with from the beginning to end of our trip. The cottage is the cleanest lakefront property we have ever stayed at. It is tastefully decorated in serene colors with a lake/nautical theme and has everything you could possibly need. Each bedroom has a power strip right there on the nightstand with USB ports and a luggage rack or ottoman to hold your suitcase. The views of the lake are amazingly. We enjoyed the sunrise and sunset each day. Nothing beats a colorful Lake Erie sunset, especially when you are sitting with family around a fire. The outdoor propane fireplace is an added bonus on a chilly lake night!
Old woman creek state nature preserve offers a beach, nature trail and museum within walking distance.
