This was our second year staying in this house. Again it was everything we expected. This house is conveniently located close to both OC and Assateague. The house is large enough for our family of 15 (9 adults, 6 children) and is suitable for our handicapped son. Since we spent most of our time outdoors we were exceptionally pleased with the huge patio. We ate our meals outside and hung out in the evenings. The small canal was nice for keeping the grandchildren entertained with crabbing. We also liked that the house is located in a small development with little traffic. My grandchildren rode their bikes around the community almost every evening. Andrea is very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Thank you again, Andrea, for sharing your home with us.
We have visited Ocean City several summers in a row and this is by far the very best place we have stayed. It feels like home. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. This home lacks in nothing at all. Even the beds were comfortable. We brought our own pillows but the home is stocked with plenty of those as well. In the future when we visit we won't be staying anywhere else. We found our "forever" vacation home. Andrea is a wonderful person and a joy to deal with.
This home was awesome. Our family is very large (9 adults, 6 children) and we were very comfortable. It was even accessible for my handicapped son. The family room and kitchen area were so big that we never even used the "formal living room and dining room". The master bedroom was enormous and even the upstairs bedrooms were large enough to fit a pack n play. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil you would ever need. We didn't spend much time inside the house because we cooked most of our meals on the grill and the backyard and patio area were so huge that we could all eat our meals outside together. The only thing that would have been nice is if there was a gas grill. We actually brought our small gas grill with us.
We were a little apprehensive at staying outside of OC but it was actually quicker to get from this house to the OC inlet than when we stayed on 130th St. And Assateague beach is great....right down the street and much more accessible than OC beach...plenty of parking and concession stand and a nice bath house. The outdoor pool was a plus and close enough that we could walk to it. It's a great community for taking evening walks and the kids could ride their bikes without worrying about traffic. So much to do and so little time.
This is by far the best place we have ever stayed in. It felt like home. We are definitely planning on staying again next year. Andrea was very accommodating and easy to work with. Thanx Andrea for sharing your home with us. We had a blast.
We are a family with 3 children and a dog. The kids said "this place looks like a mansion!" Honestly, the pictures give an idea but until you walk into this house and see how spacious and beautiful it is, you won't be disappointed. The kitchen was well stocked with all the things you need to cook and refrigerate your leftovers. The beds were comfy and they had plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The deck out back was used a lot!!!! There is a charcoal grill and plenty of seating for guests. The kids took full advantage of both the indoor pool and the outdoor pool, as well as the game room! We rented the golf cart for the week and enjoyed driving around the neighborhood while the sun was setting! The property is a short drive to both Assateague Island and Ocean City beaches. We will DEFINITELY be staying here for many summers to come!
What a great house in a nice development. We were 9 adults and a puggle dog and this house provided ample space and nice amenities. The house was clean upon our arrival and was located close to the development's clubhouse and pool as well as the crab pier and kayak dock -- which is an added bonus. The street was quiet (a grassy lot across the street from the house). The house is large enough that the overcrowding of "personal space" was never an issue. The kitchen is amply stocked with dishes, pots & pans, small appliances etc..... The washer and dryer was an added bonus! Beds were comfortable. The outdoor patio was a great space as well (we enjoyed our morning coffee out there). The house is centrally located between Ocean City and Asseteague (we spent our beach days on Asseteague and ventured on to the OC boardwalk at night a few times). The Asseteague Market (right down the road) was a good place to enjoy all you can eat crabs and such. The town of Berlin is also wonderful .... check it out .... voted "The Coolest Small Town in America" (we dined at the Globe ... a cool, old theater). We did a midweek pontoon boat rental on the bay ... always a fun thing to do. Overall .... this house was a great find for us (and the weather was perfect too)! Thanks Andrea :-)
The house was lovely. New carpeting on the main level. The kitchen was very nicely stocked - it had everything. Dishwasher didn't really work, so washing dishes on vacation was a drag. House was neat, but not what I consider very clean; however, for a dog friendly house, it was very lovely. The beds were very uncomfortable - at least the ones downstairs. Overall, we enjoyed the house. It was nice to have the dock in the backyard a well as the baseketball hoop, which both got a lot of use. We were two couples and seven kids ranging in ages 7 - 18, plus a small dog. If you do bring your dog, check for ticks dailey. My dog never had a tick in his life, but while there, we found one on him every day.
