The Perfect Rustic Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The time spent at this vacation rental was really worth the initial gamble of the unknown. This property is off the beaten path enough without being too far from great amenities like fine/casual dining, antiquing, spa treatment, shopping, great outdoor activities skiing, skating-a pleasant outdoor jog-right out the door!-all of which we enjoyed on our stay in New Hampshire! Our family has stayed here twice and each time spent was more magical and relaxing. It has quaintness about it and is special whether you go in the winter months or a spring summer getaway! The river access makes it great in the summer months. I love this house!!! It is really a special place -guaranteed to make some great memories!!

Great stay

  • 5 of 5

I spent the long weekend with my husband and two teen boys. We really enjoyed our stay. Chris was very responsive, picking up immediately when we had to call to inquire about the correct use of the hot tub (which was wonderful)! It was relaxing and the location perfect; close to everything, but tucked away right on the river. Something that I truly appreciated, having stayed at other rentals in the past, was the fact that the house was well equipped with towels, blankets, with washer and dryer for use. The deck was so peaceful. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!!

Loved this peaceful getaway on the river!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented the home with family, and our dog Bella. Our stay completely exceeded our expectations. The kids loved the home. The loft was a big hit with them. There is a closet full of classic VHS movies, DVDs and games for relaxing or rainy days. We loved canoeing and kayaking- it is so peaceful! The trip down to the lake in the canoe took about an hour, The groundskeeper, Tim, offered to pick us up at the lake, and was very accommodating! Our dog Bella was so happy to be right on the water. Loved laying on the hammock with a book, and relaxing in the jacuzzi at night with a clear view of the stars. Such a cozy and fun place. We will definitely be renting from Chris and Debbie in the future!

PS. One day, we hiked Chocorau mountain, and saw a black bear!

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I have stayed in many different places in NH over the years and this one was by far my favorite. We finally found a place that we would like to return to again and again. The owners are incredibly nice and the neighbor, Tim, is extremely helpful. The home itself is in the perfect setting and has everything you think of to make for the most enjoyable, relaxing, and fun family vacation. Loved it!

Peaceful Relaxing Vacation

  • 5 of 5

This was a very peaceful enjoyable vacation with our son and grand-daughter and English bulldog. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee on the large deck watching the lazy river. Had fun swinging into the river and kayaking and canoeing. Very private yet close to good restaurants and activities, even found some collectibles for our shop. Neighbor Tim was awesome and really helpful. One suggestion, could have used more lights in the living room for reading. We had a great time and would recommend to families. The Lynches
