From the moment we drove up to the cabin, we knew we had picked the right place for our sister trip. We were looking for a nice big porch to sit and enjoy the view and solitude. Accommodations fit all our needs. Would love to come back.
We had a wonderful retreat for our Student Ministry at Hidden Lake Lodge. The cabin was very spacious and clean. It was great that we had a place for the boys in the basement and the girls upstairs. The large porch area was nice for a relaxing time of bible study as well as the upstairs den area. The students loved the nice back lot for football, etc. The kitchen was supplied with the utensils we needed to prepare our meals. The owner was accesible for all of our questions. We plan to book again for the Spring!
We rented the cabin for a family gathering from two different states. We had ages 7 months to 78 years of age. We had an amazing time being able to reconnect with one another. The view on the porch was amazing overlooking a pond. The owners were awesome and made sure we had everything we could need to make this an awesome stay. There was plenty of space for the kids to run and play and long with the guys to play catch. Room for us to sit downstairs and have a family game night. Plus enough space for the 14 of us to sleep. I truly can see the family wishing to rent this place again one day.
We rented this cabin for a family get away. Our ages ranged from 8 to 75 and we all had a blast! Our biggest "plan" for this was to sit on the deck and drink coffee and that is what we did! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owners were wonderful and very friendly.
Cabin Was Well Appointed And The Area Is Secluded And Beautiful. View Is Incredible
We rented the cabin for a rehearsal dinner gathering and lodging for our (groom's) family. The cabin was beautiful and rustic-lots of space and great views of Western Kentucky life. Very private, relaxing and quiet setting. The owners were very accommodating-be sure to bring your own firewood though to ensure having enough to enjoy the fireplace and backyard fire pit. I have recommended it to family and friends and would definitely do it again!
Within a short drive, enjoy all the wonderful activities the area provides such as Lakes Barkley and Malone, Kentucky Lake, Land Between the Lakes, Pennyrile Forest and State Park, where you will find activities such as hiking, boating, water skiing, jet skiing, horseback riding, and more. We are close to shopping and antiquing areas, water parks, Fort Campbell, and Nashville, TN.
