Marga's home is very comfortable - nicely decorated. Very clean and had everything we needed. Loved the patio and the location - easy to get everywhere. Thank you - we will be back!

Perfect for a couple getaway - modern, clean and cozy

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay and the owner was very accommodating. She was very easy to get in touch with and helpful. It was about a 15 min walk to downtown and overall a great location. The home was comfortable, clean and perfect for a couple. Also there's a wonderful library and beautiful art pieces throughout the home - it feels very much like Santa Fe.

This Magical Home is a Destination of its Own!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Marga's beautiful home for 5 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The art and the decor are just a part of what makes this house so special. Marga herself is another reason the house is so special. She is a perfect host. She gave us suggestions for hikes in the area and they were spot-on. She also includes thoughtful touches, like the magical tree that softly lights the backyard at night and the plants in the house and the list of how the house works. The location is perfect as a launching point to walk or drive anywhere in or around Santa Fe. For a couple, the house is a perfect size. Our two small dogs loved the yard and the park across the street. We have been to Santa Fe many times, but this time we felt the house we stayed in was a great part of our experience as well. We will be back and we hope to stay here again.

Beautiful, comfortable casita in the heart of Santa Fe. Truly a wonderful oasis.

  • 5 of 5

It is amazing how spacious and acccomodating two rooms can be. This ground floor unit is beautifully decorated in the Santa Fe spirit. The kitchen is well stocked to prepare small or large meals. But who wants to cook when there are so many great restaurants. There is a private patio area perfect to enjoy morning coffee or a late afternoon glass of wine. We walked to the Plaza, Georgia O'Keeffe museum, Cowgirls restaurant and Joseph's restaurant. All highly recommended. Doubletake, a consignment shop is a fun place to while away a rainy afternoon. Bandelier National Monument and the Bradbury science museum in Los Alamos are worth the drive. My husband and I have been traveling for many years and staying in rentals. This rental makes the top of our favorites list. Marga is a delight to work with.

Cool in every way

  • 5 of 5

This home is a beautiful place to rest after a day exploring Santa Fe.

The artwork is captivating and inspiring. I especially enjoyed the Ganesha outside the bedroom window. It is close to a very nice park. It's an enjoyable walk to downtown and all the different shops and galleries.

The bed was comfortable, and once I figured out the shower, it was delicious. The kitchen is divinely functional. All the treats of modern living - blender, toaster, and even a tea kettle were available.

Marga is an excellent host. We had to work around the goofy VRBO email system, and she was very kind in all her interactions.

This is an exceptional place to stay. If there is a time I return to Santa Fe, I would definitely stay here.

Great Location And Well Suited For Any Weather

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at the Oasis included a couple days of unusual weather for late April. We encountered several inches of snow, high winds and temperatures in the high 20's overnight. This was the perfect time to just relax inside our rental unit until conditions improved. Lucky for us we were at a place that had in-floor heating, lots of comfortable furniture to lounge on, a great kitchen, a wall of interesting books, cable tv and a fireplace if you wanted to use it. The kind owner, Marga, was always available to call if you had any questions. The place is located only a short and pleasant walk from the downtown area. Our stay of four nights was very enjoyable even with the weather conditions. We just wished we could have stayed longer!
