Nestled into the woods at the Southern edge of the White Mountains, our secluded lakefront home and guest house are located on Squam Lake, site of the movie 'On Golden Pond.' The property is on four very private wooded acres with magnificent views of the White Mountains. The sizable screened porch has a wrap-around view onto one of the lake's most private coves. Both the main house and the guest house have wonderful sunset views of the lake, and are 35 and 75 feet from shore. This is a tranquil spot 3 miles from the charming town of Center Sandwich, NH. The rental includes a dock, kayaks, canoes and a sunfish free of charge. The homes have a washing machine, a washer, a dryer, etc. and all amenities except TV and web access. The house has a lovely large living room with a fireplace, and wonderful picture windows looking onto the lake.
I am happy to answer any questions you may have. This is a lovely, secluded area. We love it, and hope you have the chance to experience it as well.
Again, feel free to contact me with questions.

My family have been blessed with this magical location on Squam Lake for over 70 years. It is a delightful place. With glorious views of the cove and mountains, this spot is described (by friends) as the nicest spot on the lake.
Squam is at the base of the White Mountains. The lake is protected by a long tradition of environmental laws and Squaw Cove is one of the coves that has benefited most from these laws.
