Cute recently renovated lakeside cottage with bathroom update 2010 available for your enjoyment. Great location waterfront property right on beautiful "little" Lake St George with direct water access to Lake St. George. Many amenities make this the perfect place to have the kind of vacation you are looking for.
There is a private dock we have a small canoe and kayaks for your use and spend the day exploring the two lakes and many small hideaway islands. Wonderful fishing and wildlife abound. Great view from the porch as you look onto the lake sipping your morning coffee contemplating your plans for the day.
In the early evening hear the loons calling in the distance. No cleaning service so please leave clean as you find it.

We enjoyed the cabin very much. The location on the lake was fabulous and extremely relaxing. Many evenings were spent listening to loons and playing cards. There were only two draw backs - the kitchen was tiny and the beam leading into the cabin/sunroom was quite low (6 ft) and was the cause of a great deal of head trauma.
We had a great time staying at the cabin! It couldn't be any closer to the lake, which is a perfect size for swimming, kayaking, and canoeing (kayaks & canoe are provided by the cabin owners). It's located on a smaller lake adjacent to Lake St George, which is nice because there is much less boat traffic (water skiing, etc). The area is beautiful, wooded, and quiet. The lake also has some great fishing spots (we caught largemouth bass, pickerel, and perch).
For excursions, the cabin is centrally located for visits to Camden, Belfast, and Waterville (Colby College).
This is a lakeside cabin in Maine, so it's not exactly 5-star amenities, but it's clean and comfortable and you can't beat the view!
We'll be back!
If you're looking for a rustic yet comfortable Maine getaway, this cottage is perfect. We stayed here for 6 nights back in July/August of 2011 and are going back again for 2012! We simply loved it. We have two well behaved dogs who also enjoyed swimming daily. This place is not the Ritz but is a perfect Maine Natural Getaway. It has everything you need; kitchen, bathroom with shower, living area, deck with picnic table and grill, directly situated on the lake. We used the canoe and the kayaks and explored the lake. Simply breath-taking clean air and quite neighborhood of cabins and vacationers. Perfect rustic getaway!!
less than a mile from the State park boat launch on Lake St. Georges. Easy access to launch your motor boat and navigate it from the "big" lake to our dock.
