What a great place to escape from it all! Sleep in one of our very own hand-hewn log cabins situated on 232 acres of land. Walk into a charming country kitchen, fully equipped with everything you need to make a romantic dinner or just relax in the cozy living area with your favorite book by the wood-burning stove.
Early summer evenings are best enjoyed while rocking on the covered porch with a glass of cool lemonade watching the wind rustle through the leaves as deer graze nearby.
If you are the more adventurous type; enjoy a stroll down to the pond and ride on the paddle boat perhaps catching a glimpse of the wild geese and Mallards who visit there, or hike one of our many, beautiful woodland trails. Picnics are 'a must' with the outdoor grills and picnic tables we provide.
Rest, relax and enjoy your vacation in one of the most serene and beautiful settings Vermont has to offer. Your vacation to Birch Meadow will be one of your most treasured memories!
My stay was, as always, excellent. I LOVE it here! Thank you for your hospitality, and for sharing this beautiful spot. See you next year! :)
This is such a perfect tucked away home away from home with all the amenities you would need. Plenty to do nearby yet you wake up with a view of rolling hills in peaceful seclusion. The host/hostess are both very nice too. We will definitely be returning in the near future! Thanks for a great first anniversary!
We really enjoyed spending our away time at this cozy little (Actually pretty good sized) Log cabin in Vermont. The Innkeepers were friendly, the cabins were clean, and a generous portion of fire wood was promptly dropped off to our front porch on arrival. We travel often and can say that this is a good value for a truly romantic Vermont get-away :)
We found both the owners and the cabin we stayed in to be warm and welcoming! Had everything we needed. Very cozy and clean. Will definitely be back to rent again! Would love to see the property during another season. Thanks for sharing your homestead with us! Jon and Kim from CT
Recently returned from a weekend in Indian Cabin - it was awesome! The cabin was a great size for two couples. The cabin was clean and stocked with all the linens/kitchen supplies you could need. Mary, the owner, was very accommodating. We hiked and enjoyed the grounds during the day and cozied up by the wood stove at night. Our two dogs had the time of their lives. Will definitely be going back!
A spotless and well maintained property in a lovely location. Straight out of Calamity Jane! We loved the deck and the rocking chairs and made full use of the abundant source of firewood for fires after the bbq. Good facilities, we enjoyed the lake nearby and had many walks in the grounds - our small dog had the time of her life too! We extended our stay by two nights and were sorry to leave
Thank you for the firewood. There was so much!
We had the pleasure of staying at the Indian Cabin. Thank you for providing everything for us. It was cold out as we enjoyed watching the ice harvest on the Floating Bridge. We even walked up to the end of the driveway past the horse barn in the moonlight. The snow was beautiful!
