Charming property

  • 5 of 5

This charming property was our home base for our visit to Glacier National Park and the surrounding area. The design of the house met our needs for a party of four for our six night stay during the wildfires in September. The house was impeccably clean and had very good linens. We did encounter a few minor issues when checking in, but Teresa, who manages the property, responded promptly to address them. The television in the main living area could be replaced because the audio was not the best and was a little complicated without instructions on how to use the remote. We really enjoyed the deck and the view of the lake. My son-in-law, a fisherman, rented a boat and used it every day on Lake Blaine, which is conveniently located across the road from the house with its own private dock. The kitchen had all the dishware and cookware needed for our stay. Plus, the appliances were very clean and worked well. One of the best sightings was an eagle that perched in a pine tree behind the property practically every day. The property is about 20 miles from the entrance to the park, but being on a lake made the location perfect for our use.

First time to Flathead Valley

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful house in a gorgeous setting; mountains in the rear and unobstructed lake views.

The house is well equipped, maintained and is spotless. Everything worked well and fit our family of four perfectly.

The house is situated well in that Glacier National Park, Whitefish and Flathead Lake are within a 30 minute drive.

Great for families. We will visit this house again.

No better to place to stay!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

This place is AMAZING!!! Our party of four adults stayed in mid August and could not have been happier!!! The house is gorgeous, clean with all the comforts of home. The location could not be better. Many of the properties for rent near west Glacier are right off a noisy highway, but not this one! It is tucked back off a quiet road(barely saw a car) on a beautiful, tranquil lake. The owners are so helpful and friendly with EVERYTHING! We had so much fun having evening dinners, kayaking and fishing on the property we really didn't want to even visit Glacier National Park. It is also close to Big Fork And Whitefish Montana which are two wonderful little towns to explore. The rest of the time we hiked and it was so nice to come back to this wonderful property!!!! Can't wait to return (believe us we will be back!!!)

Owner's Response: Deb, What a nice review and so unexpected! We are thrilled that this was a great vacation for your group. People have often times commented about the peaceful setting and yet having so many activities nearby. We know that you would have liked to extend your stay, but we are so happy to hear that you would like to return. It would be wonderful to have you as guests again. Sincerely, Tom & Julie

Great Place for All Ages

  • 5 of 5

Tom did a great job accommodating our 3 generations of family. He answered all our questions and went out of his way to keep us up to date on the forest fires in Glacier Park.

We would go back in a heartbeat. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer and spend more time at this relaxing location.

The only negatives we could remotely come up with is that the basement hideabed was reported to be a bit uncomfortable for our newlywed couple. The place was so clean and perfect that we probably made an extra effort to leave it the way we found it because these owners obviously take great pride in a their truly lovely home.

Amazing home & location!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this beautiful home for a "girls weekend/bachelorette party" for 12 women. The house is immaculate and wonderfully stocked with everything you need. The owners are nearby to help but not intrusive. Beds are so comfortable! The lake is nice and warm for swimming, even in June. We had a perfect time and Tom & Julie were great, even when our hen party got a little too loud. Thanks again!
