WELCOME to your Parisian home away from home! Perfect for business travelers and vacationers!
Ideally located in the heart of the City of Lights, steps away from the right bank’s world-renowned monuments and the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore’s fashion shops, your gorgeous apartment awaits.
Built in the late 1800s in the Haussmann style, completely renovated in 2006 and again in 2016, your spacious, one-bedroom pied-a-terre sparkles with beautiful south, east, and west-facing views of Paris rooftops and streetscape from its rare bay window.
Decorated by Valerie DeRoy Interiors, LLC, each airy room is a tribute to elegant yet comfortable Parisian living. (700 Square Feet: Foyer, Foyer Walk-In Closet, Kitchen, Powder Room, Living/Dining Room, Bedroom, Bathroom, Laundry Room)
With natural sunlight cascading into each room thanks to its south-facing windows, your air-conditioned 4th floor Parisian pied-a-terre, accessible by stairs or by elevator, exudes warmth and airiness.
The living and dining room, showcasing original and unusual Empire ceiling moldings as well as point-de-hongrie hardwood floors, is the perfect room in which to unwind after a busy day spent sightseeing the marvels of Paris: Dock your iPod in the Bose SoundDock Digital Music System, pour yourself a glass of wine, and experience Paris living the way well-heeled Parisians do.
The large bedroom, featuring original and intricately carved ceiling moldings as well as plush carpeting and a king-size bed, is a haven designed for relaxation and rejuvenation after a night on the town. Its muted colors, soft fabrics, and hushed lighting make it the perfect after dark Parisian sanctuary.
The kitchen, with granite countertops, glazed cabinets, and a full complement of top-of-the-line stainless steel Miele appliances, manages to be both efficient and elegant. The adjoining powder room is ideally situated, allowing easy access to you and your cocktail guests.
The bathroom, with its white carrara marble floor and wall tiles, retro plumbing fixtures and oversized porcelain bathtub, may make you want to soak forever.

Located in the heart of the 8th arrondissement, your apartment is a stroll away from the right bank’s most famous historical places and monuments: les Champs-Elysees, la place de la Concorde, la place de la Madeleine, l’Opera, la place Vendome, les Tuileries gardens, le Louvre museum, le Palais Royal, le Petit Palais and le Grand Palais. Le Parc Monceau, surrounded by 19th century Hotels Particuliers and one of Paris' most elegant parks, is only a few short blocks away.
For shopping, the high fashion shops of la rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore are just mere minutes away, as are les Grands Magasins, Paris’ quintessential department stores. At the Marche Treilhard, a couple of blocks away, a cornucopia of French delicacies await: here you can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese from the cheese shop, pastries from the patisserie, fish from the fishmonger, and meat from the butcher. For everyday items, the Monoprix supermarket is also but a couple of blocks away.
For a true French market experience, head to the Levis market on the rue de Levis, a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The Levis market is open daily, weekends included. Go there in the mornings for a deeper selection of typical French foods and beverages. We highly recommend you walk the Levis market at least once during your stay, as it is a feast for the eyes.
If you want food to match your new Armani outfit, take a walk to la Madeleine and browse the shelves of Fauchon or Hediard, Paris’ top luxury food emporiums. If sweets are what you crave, try Laduree on the rue Royale, maker of Paris’ finest macaroons.
For explorations further a field, the Miromesnil and Saint-Augustin Metro Stations are just a few steps away (2-4 minutes), as are direct bus routes to all parts of the city.

My wife and I spend about 4 weeks a year in our Paris apartment, and consider it our home away from home. It is a true gem which we hope you will enjoy as much as we do!
Joel purchased this condo in 2006
My wife being from Paris and my in-laws living there, we decided to purchase this property to be able to visit with them as often as possible. We settled on this arrondissement because of its rich history, easy walking distance to all of the right bank's major monuments, its residential feel and convenient access to the city's subway, bus lines and CDG airport. An added attraction is that Valerie's family live around the corner from us.
We chose to purchase this particular apartment for multiple reasons: the high ceilings, the original parquet floors, plaster moldings, fireplace and mirrors, the view from its unique bay window, the building's enhanced security thanks to its own caretaker or what Parisians call a 'gardienne', and close proximity to public transportation and taxi stands.
An added benefit are the Presidential Palace and Interior Ministry buildings around the corner ensuring police patrol our neighborhood streets 24 hours a day on their mission to protect France's most important politicians. This can be very reassuring when walking back from one of our wonderful local restaurants at 1:00 am! (and helpful when in need of directions)
The apartment was a true gem and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We could not believe how nice and quaint the apartment and building was. It was a dream come true for my wife. We had an amazing time and will cherish it for a lifetime. It was the storybook honeymoon for us and we appreciate your accommodations and help and service to us. We already miss the couch and balcony window, we spent many moments there enjoying the Paris views in between our visits to the sites. Hopefully someday, we can visit again. We will pass the word around to friends alike that your apartment was a great place to enjoy the real Parisian experience!
I rented this apartment for the week I was working in Paris. It was perfect! It was a 2 block walk to the metro, very close to grocery shops, restaurants, bakeries - everything you need at your fingertips. The apartment has been remodeled - although they left the original incredibly beautiful hardwood floors - and is nicely furnished with very comfortable living room furniture and a wonderfully comfortable bed. It was great to come home at night, fix myself something to eat, and then set up my computer at the dining room table. The instructions on how to run the appliances were the best I've ever seen. The owners offer suggestions for interesting places to visit, shop, and eat. They recommended going to a new bakery at the corner of Boulevard Haussman and rue d'Argenson where I had one of the best chocolate soufflé cakes I've ever eaten. Don't miss the Levis Market they recommend. Enjoy your stay!
We spent a wonderful week over the Christmas holidays in this beautiful Parisian apartment celebrating our wedding anniversary. The charming 'guardienne' Christina met us as scheduled and got us settled in. The apartment was as described, very stylish, and perfect for two people. The apartment is in a great location for exploring Paris with many popular areas in walking distance, yet is located on a quiet street to allow for a restful night's sleep. The immediate neighborhood has some wonderful boulangeries for breakfast goodies and sandwiches. We did not try the local restaurants but there seemed to be a great choice nearby. We will certainly stay here again on our next trip to the City of Lights. Do not hesitate to book this accommodation, you will not be disappointed.
This apartment is gorgeous: the result of being beautifully renovated by the interior designer/owner. The rooms are large and apparently carved out of the larger apartment next door. They have all the details of old Paris apartments: high ceilings with elaborate plaster work, tall double doors to each room, and restored herring-bone hardwood floors. The renovation has been sensitively done and includes a small but incredibly well-stocked and laid out kitchen, a luxurious bath and separate toilet, a comfortable bed with wonderful linens and plenty of storage for clothes. The apartment is perfect for two adults.
The neighborhood has a boulangerie (right across the street), a charming bistro, also right across the street, a nearby street of traditional fruit and vegetable vendors and a butcher; nearby is one of Paris' charming street markets and around the corner are several other nice bistros and brassersies, not to mention some of Paris' best upscale dining. Les Grands Magasins (Gallerie Lafayette and Au Printemps) are a short walk, as is the Champs Elysées. Two metro stops are a couple of short blocks.
We would rent this place again in a heartbeat.
My husband and I spent two wonderful weeks in this apartment. Cristina met us upon arrival and although her English is limited, we had no trouble communicating, and she was able to show us the apartment and explain the basics. It is a beautiful and comfortable flat, designed and decorated with impeccable taste. The bed is extremely comfortable with high end linens. The washer/dryer is very easy to use and works well. We basically had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Another shout out to the new bakery across the way, Thierry Marx. Delicious and convenient, although I must say there are several good bakeries in the area. We enjoyed dinner at Pomze one evening. Highly recommended. The apartment is well located and the proximity to the Gare St Lazare is a real plus. We'll be back.
This was our second visit to the DeRoy apartment. The space is gracious and so relaxing after a day of Paris. Well located and access to metro and buses can't be beat as well as the new boulangerie nearly directly across the street for breakfast pastry and very nice sandwiches for picnics. Nearby was the newly renovated Jean-Jacques Henner Museum on Rue Villiers which as intimate and housed a memorable collection. Thank you for sharing your home with us and we look forward to our next stay here. Kindest regards, kyle & ralston
We stayed here for our 15th wedding anniversary and found this apartment to be a wonderful location and accommodations. The pictures posted on VRBO of the apartment were exactly what we found. We felt very safe in this quiet and upscale neighborhood. We were only a five to ten minute walk to the train station which was very convenient for a day trip to Normandy and to Givery. We used Victory Tours for Normandy to go to the D-Day beaches which was exceptional! There are many nice restaurants within a five to ten minute walk from the apartment. The major tourist sites are within walking distance or a $7.00 cab ride. Joel and Valerie were very responsive and helpful in answering any questions we had prior to our arrival. We would definitely stay here again!
