Come and enjoy one of Vancouver Island's hidden gems, Ships Point! This beautiful oceanfront house is the perfect sanctuary for a getaway. You'll be leaving so relaxed that you'll never want to leave. The 3 bedroom property is fully equipped with everything that you'll need!

Located almost at the end of a no through road in the very desirable community of Ships Point. Our oceanfront property is quite private, features approx. 90 ft of water frontage, morning sun with eastern exposure, beautiful vegetable gardens, a double garage and 2 bed/2 bath home as well as adorable 295 sqft, 1 bed/1 bath self contained guest suite. The 2,083 sqft home built in 1979 boast on the main floor; kitchen, laundry room, open dining & living room area with a large stone wood burning fireplace, open to a sunny solarium with access to the deck & gorgeous ocean views. A master bedroom with 2 piece ensuite bath as well as a full 3 piece bathroom totally renovated with large walk in shower. The walk out basement has a bedroom, rec room & workshop area plus utility room with access under the deck. The main house boasts most of the original traits of it’s era but has tremendous potential. The guest suite has been freshly painted and shows quite well with a cute kitchen/living space with lovely ocean views.

Fantastic location, view and property
Waterfront property, very private setting. Beautiful view. When we booked it the add said the property was 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms but when we checked in it was only 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There’s now two suites on the property but we were not informed. Talked to the property owner and was told that it had been updated on one site but not on the site we booked on. Did eventually get a refund for a night stay. House could use many updates, especially the kitchen such as the dishwasher is very old and the hinges don’t hold the door up so it opens fast and is very heavy. Notified the owner, hopefully it is replaced. Overall we had a great stay and absolutely loved the location, view and grounds. Great place for a family vacation!

inaccurate VRBO listing
Although the property is an attractive one, the VRBO listing is inaccurate and thus misleading. we have used VRBO for years and expect that a property listed is not a shared property. This one contains an attached secondary suite. when we arrrived there were 3 vehicles in the drive, one in the garage and two couples from the secondary suite having dinner on the patio of the house. As well The VRBO listing indicates three bathrooms- there were 1.5 and 3 bedrooms when there were only two usable ones. We would not consider this property again nor recommend it to others.

Short stay on a fall weekend. For waterfront, this is good value. Reminded me a bit of going to the ol family cabin
