We love sailing in the US and British Virgin islands because the islands are close together and protected that you can drink your pina colada while sailing the clear blue waters. These islands have everything you want or need to make the perfect balance for the best vacation.
Our property is a vessel that sails everyday for a few hours to new island. Each island is just a little bit different from the next island which makes a new adventure each day. You can go where the parties are or stay as secluded as you want to make you vacation meet your needs. The crew will pamper your every need. You can help with the sailing or just relax on the deck and soak up the rays. It is a great vacation for families to spend time together and enjoy the adventure.

Our family just returned from a week on Ayacanora with Robert and Rick. We had never sailed for an extended period of time. The trip was a 70th Birthday gift for my mother in law who is a nervous about sailing and the rest of the family are "aspiring" sailors but not quite ready to go out on our own. Roberta and Rick are professionals! My mother in law was sitting co pilot chatting with Roberta most of the week and loving every second! My husband gleaned extremely helpful sailing lessons and knowledge from Roberta and Rick all week. We were all spoiled every moment of everyday by the adventures, experience and beyond amazing food. I was nervous about gaining weight after reading the reviews so I told Roberta prior to our arrival that we wanted very healthy food! She is amazing. The food WAS healthy and literally 5 star restaurant meals. Our family loves to travel and all of us have traveled extensively. All of us agree hands down this was a bucket list trip, we all feel so lucky to have had this special time together enjoying the wind and the sailing, remote and beautiful beaches, the caves, snorkeling, Roberta and Rick's company and exquisite food....the list goes on. A few of us were nervous about the possibility of motion sickness so we brought the wrist bands which we thought was helpful. None of us had problems with motion sickness and at the end of the trip we all agreed being rocked to sleep is totally addicting. Even our two young kids ages 2 & 6 loved it! One of the things we all appreciated was the effort Roberta and Rick made to ensure we were all getting the best of everything. They brought us to special beaches and asked us what was important to us and made it happen. Our family felt so lucky to have experienced this adventure together - truly a trip of a life time!! Thank you Robert & Rick!!
Our stay on the Ayacanora was absolutely fabulous! I have sailed on a number of other yachts through the years and this one exceeded them all! From the moment we arrived their genuine good nature and hospitality set the tone for a great trip! The atmosphere of the yacht was warm, inviting, surprisingly spacious, and had all the comforts of home. They did not just welcome us onto their yacht as guests but somehow managed to make it feel as though the Ayacanora was our yacht and they were their as chef and crew to meet our wishes. The food was beyond compare! I cannot stress this point enough! Most yachts “come with a chef” but Roberta is truly a chef. I consider her a 5 star restaurant chef! The meals she prepared were fabulous! To find her was a stroke of luck; to find her on a yacht in the Caribbean , priceless! Obviously, the Caribbean is breathtaking in and of itself, but to island hop on the Ayacanora with Roberta and Rick, just made it even more special. Rick graciously took the kids tubing, paddle boarding, and kayaking. He led us to the best snorkeling spots which were phenomenal! He gave us mini tours of the islands and told stories with bits of history and trivia. Both, Roberta and Rick were amenable to our personal requests to make this vacation suit our family. They were exceptional! With the spectacular views of the Virgin Islands, gorgeous turquoise waters and a pristine white beach just beyond the bow, the gentle rocking of the boat and the aroma of one of Roberta’s gourmet meals filling the air, truly our best vacation ever! I would repeat it in a heartbeat! All my best to Roberta and Rick and their family!
Sincerely, Mary Jean B.
I can't say enough about how wonderful our week was aboard Ayacanora. My husband and I booked it for the second week of our honeymoon. The ship is the perfect blend of homey and luxurious. The cabins are the size of rooms on much larger (and much more expensive) yachts. Roberta's cooking would make celebrity chefs feel inadequate - we're foodies, and she blew us away with the quality of every meal! We let her know what we liked in advance, and I can assure you, she delivered. Her mixed drinks are fantastic and plentiful as well, and her portion sizes - well, let's just say you won't go hungry! The only reason we didn't go home 20 pounds heavier was because we did so much snorkeling.
Our captain, Rick, was wonderful company and told us fascinating stories about the local area. When we did go ashore, he and Roberta gave us great tips on what to see and do. Every day we sailed to a different island, each one seemingly more beautiful than the last. We knew a few places we wanted to see, including Anagada, and Rick carefully planned so that we'd be able to do so, even though January weather isn't always conducive to sailing all the way up there. We told them we like to snorkel, so they took us to all the best spots, where we saw some of the most amazing fish and coral in the world.
It was a week of beautiful views, incredible snorkeling, wonderful relaxation, delicious food, warm weather, and new friends. We may have arrived as customers, but we left as friends. Rick and Roberta are truly special people and I have no doubt that if you sail with them, you will feel the same way. We're not easily impressed, but we were blown away by Ayacanora and her crew. We can't wait to return!
Our trip aboard Ayacanora was everything we’d hoped it would be. Unsure if we could handle 7 days at sea, we booked a three night cruise and Mike and Roberta (along with Rick, we had tri-captains :)) gave us an experience we’ll never forget. Ayacanora is spectacular. It was really cool seeing passengers on other boats taking pictures of her. We knew we wanted to snorkel the caves at Norman Island and see the Baths on Virgin Gorda but, other than that, what we had no agenda other than to relax, enjoy a good sail and snorkel and anchor in some crystal clear, calm water. One night at The Bight and two in Pond Bay on Virgin Gorda, as well as a sail to Leverick Bay did the trick. And the food! We told Roberta that we’d happily eat seafood for dinner every night and she absolutely nailed it—freshly caught poached lobster over cheese ravioli, grouper with roasted potatoes and green beans with bacon, shrimp and scallops over wild rice with shaved zucchini and carrots. Are you drooling yet? Happy hour treats included crab cakes, pesto pinwheels and lobster and crab puff pastries. Oh, and there were freshly baked blueberry muffins and amazing cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Sorry, Roberta, but we do hold you responsible for some of the weight we gained! We so enjoyed getting to know the three of you as we shared those late-night conversations in the cockpit. Seeing the Southern Cross and phosphorescent algae for the first time was just icing on the cake. Thank you for a fantastic experience.

Mike and Roberta are hands down the coolest, most easy going, fun people I have ever met! From the first night we arrived on the dock with all of our luggage they made us feel like family. Everyday after that was a crazy fun adventure mixed with much needed relaxation while we sailed to our next beautiful destination arriving in style on the Ayacanora:). Every morning while drinking my delicious coffee with Rumchatta I would reflect on the previous day and wonder how it could possibly get any better but sure enough it always did. Thank you both so much for the amazing trip!! We are looking forward to our next Bushwacker tour with Roberta and Gymnastics with Mike on the Willy T :))) XOXO Until Next time.

What an amazing trip! Roberta and Rick were such amazing hosts and we are so blessed to call them our new life long friends! The boat is gorgeous and has everything you can imagine. Roberta is truly a 5 star chef. The best food I have ever had on a vacation and we travel ALOT! We were able to relax, kayak, snorkel (I saw an Octopus!) and visit amazing Islands! My favorite was Virgin Gorda! Thank you for an un-forgettable vacation! We will see you again!!! Donna and Jay!!
Our vessel Ayacanora can pick up st either airport Beef island (EIS) or St. Thomas (STT). Once aboard we set sail doe a few hours to the nearest islands and each day we sail to another island. The islands that you can see in a seven day trip is St. John, Jost Van Dyke, Norman, Peter, Marina Cay, Virgin Gorda and Anegada. The crew feel there are some must see places to see , such as the Indians, snorkeling the caves, and Willy T's at Norman island. The soggy dollar and Foxy's at Jost Van Dyke. The spa at Peter island. The bathes at Virgin Gorda. If the weather permits Anegada is a must see as it was voted one of the top ten beaches in the world!
