Unwind and admire the soaring views from your well furnished balcony during the day and enjoy a memorable sunset seafood feast in the evening. Floor to ceiling glass in the Living room and Master Bedroom! You have unobstructed panoramic views from virtually anywhere in your condo!
The Master Bedroom features a King Size bed, ceiling fan, two nightstands with lamps, one large chest of drawers with mirror, and flat screen television with DVD player. Fine quality pillowtop bedding and custom bedcovers and linens are provided. Close the light blocking designer curtains at night and enjoy that well deserved morning snooze. Adjoining the Master Bedroom is a double sink Vanity area and an oversized closet. The closet is large enough to let a small child have their own little room. There is a firm baby mattress (no linens) under the King bed for you to use.
The vanity adjoins the tiled Master Bathroom which features a corner Jacuzzi garden tub and shower.
The tiled Living area features a sofa and love seat combination with a cool and colorful lime green finish. The sofa converts to a comfortable queen size heavy-duty, commercial grade, sleeper bed. Enjoy the option of the light blocking designer drapes. An entertainment center has a flat screen television, DVD/CD/MP3 system to play your favorite CD’s and beach music.
Free high speed wireless internet, and cable. The unit also has a telephone.
The Dining area has a full size dining table and six chairs with overhead lighting. There is a kitchen bar nearby that seats three.
The beautifully decorated Guest Bedroom has a Queen Size bed, ceiling fan, two chest-style nightstands each with lamps, one large chest of drawers with mirror, and a flat screen television with DVD player. Fine quality pillow top bedding and linens are provided. It adjoins a full sized bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The guestroom window faces north and has an panoramic view of Lake Shelby.
There is a bunk room with two twin beds. Please note: A few units in Lighthouse are advertising one bedroom units with bunk rooms as two bedrooms. Compare wisely. A bunk room is really not a suitable space for adults but it’s a cute little room your kids will absolutely love! It is furnished with two twin beds and a television with a DVD player. The twin doors close to give the space some peace and quiet. It even has an exterior north window - with a great view - with privacy blinds.
The kitchen is fully stocked. All fine quality china, glassware and stainless steel flatware is provided with service for up to eight guests. Everything to prepare a quick snack or a gourmet dinner is right at your fingertips. There is a double stainless steel sink with disposal, dishwasher, electric stove with cook top, microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, toaster, can opener, blender, pots and pans, steak knives, and assorted serving pieces. There is a large pantry with plenty of shelves and cabinet storage galore!
There is a large laundry/utility room at the entrance with a full size washer and dryer. For your convenience an iron with ironing board, broom and vacuum cleaner is provided. This room is an excellent storage area for coolers or beach toys.
Your condo is a professionally decorated work of art. You will be pleased with the unique and tasteful decor, comfortable quality furniture and wall art. The walls are a warm butter yellow color. The unit is professionally cleaned between each guest.
There are three pools on the property. One is a 'zero entry' fountain pool. The other large pool nearby is for swimming. The third pool is a seasonally heated indoor pool.
Check out the Fitness Center. Relax in the dry sauna or work out on the treadmills, cross trainers, and weight machines. There are two outdoor hot tubs.
The Lighthouse Condominium proudly stands on the property where the famous landmark Lighthouse Motel once stood. It is only a few frisbee throws away from The Sea and Suds; the only “over-the-beach” seafood restaurant-pier in the area. Don't miss the all-new Hangout Beach bar. Go north on Highway 59 you will find Lulu’s, owned by Jimmy Buffett’s sister, Lucy Buffett. Jimmy has been known to make guest appearances.
Lighthouse is located just a few miles away from Supermarkets, Wal-Mart and Target. Our goal is to have you as a frequent guest. Your satisfaction is our top priority.

C A N C E L L A T I O N P O L I C Y
CANCELLATIONS/DATE CHANGES/CREDIT SETTLEMENT
If you are renting by the week or by the night and you are canceling more than 30 days before arrival and we are holding a security deposit and any advance rent payment, it will be refunded within two weeks of notification. A $100.00 cancellation fee will apply. This will be deducted from your bank card, or your balance on file.
If you are canceling from 29 to 15 days before arrival and we are holding a security deposit and any advance rent payment, both may be forfeited unless we can generate an equivalent amount of rent for the period you had it reserved and removed from the market. A $100.00 cancellation fee will apply. This will be deducted from your bank card, or your balance on file.
If you are canceling within 14 to 1 day(s) before arrival, your security deposit and any advance rental payment(s) will NOT be refunded.
Any credit card fees incurred by your cancellation may be deducted from your refunded amount.
Every reasonable effort will be made to rent the period you canceled. In the event of any cancellation and re-booking of your canceled time we may, at our discretion, return your payments on file, less expenses and less a $100.00 cancellation fee. Your refund will not exceed the revenue collected to rent your cancelled time.
Early departures, shortened stays, or amended reservation dates, do not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.
If you are renting by the month and you are canceling more than 60 days before arrival and we are holding a security deposit and any advance rent payment, it will be refunded within two weeks of notification. A $100.00 cancellation fee will apply. This will be deducted from your bank card, or your balance on file.
If you are cancelling less than 60 days from your arrival date; all reasonable efforts will be made to re-rent the time. If that time is rented you may be refunded an amount not to exceed the balance you paid. A $100 cancellation fee will apply.
Owners reserve the right to cancel reservations because of conditions that would prevent the safe occupancy of the unit rented.
Late Payments. We may cancel your reservations because of late payments. Late payments will indicate your desire not to pay, in which case your reservations and/or your security deposit on file, may be subject to forfeiture.
Denied Occupancy. In the event that an occurrence would cause our condo unit to have its’ certificate of occupancy (CO) revoked, creating a period of denied occupancy, a refund will be made for any rent paid for that same canceled period and no cancellation fee will be assessed.
Owners reserve the right to cancel any reservation up to 30 days prior to arrival. In the event of an owner cancellation, refund of all rent paid will be made and no cancellation fee will be assessed.
Hurricanes and Tropical Storms. Since private travel cancellation insurance is widely available to travelers today no credit or refunds will be issued if a hurricane or tropical storm is threatening the area or occurs immediately before your stay preventing travel to our condo, or if these events occur during your stay that creates mandatory or voluntary evacuation. The purchase of cancellation insurance is highly recommended.
LODGINGS TAX INCREASE: The City of Gulf Shores has increased their portion of the 11% lodgings tax to create a new total rate of 13% for stays occurring on or after May 1, 2018. Since we accept instant bookings and VRBO has no way to collect multiple rates, we are assessing the new 13% rate on all reservations. Credit adjustments will be made for the overpaying of this tax on reservations occurring before May 1, 2018. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
