About Sarah

I grew up in Connecticut and now live in NYC full time. I am a songwriter and I find it a very creative place to rejuvenate, relax and restore. I know you will enjoy this stylish gem.

I have rented the house though Homeaway for 12 years.

Sarah purchased this house in 2004

Why Sarah chose Hamptons

I visited East Hampton a number of times with my family and realized I wanted to buy something. The minute I walked in to this house I knew it was the one. Other than the amazing mahagony built ins ( Kitchen and living room) there is a Gaudi- esque fireplace chimney that is 25 feet high and sits in the middle the open, airy living room. It is unique and sculptural. These features really set the house apart and along with all of the art and pottery, make for a very cosy creative setting. It is completely family friendly home .

What makes this house unique

The pool is incredible. It belongs at a much more grand address,...It feels like you are at a spa..but it's yours to enjoy - all to yourself. The house and grounds provide a chance to totally get away from everything. I know you will agree when you rent my charming house.

Spacious, charming, Danish Beach Modern

  • 5 of 5

The house had a huge amount of space but still really quaint and cozy. This place has a beautiful yard and heated pool. She had everything you needed in the pantry like EV olive oil, spices. Every pot and pan you could think of. The kitchen was ready to have beautiful meals from all the farm fresh local spots for produce and anything you need. Amagansett is the best location because of how close it is to Montauk and East Hampton but still so private and chic by being just far enough from all the chaos those areas bring to them now with night culture and society. Sarah was personable and quick to respond every time from inquiry to check out.

Beautiful home in a great location!

  • 4 of 5

This property is well described on the listing. LOVE the mid century decor, and the kitchen is very well stocked. It's worth noting that there are no window coverings in the main areas, but the house is mostly surrounded by trees. Also worth noting that it is on a busy street, if that's an issue for you. A bedroom fan helped for white noise. The location was perfect, with only a couple minute drive into Easthampton and a short drive to Amagansett. We also did day trips to Sag harbor, Shelter Island, and Montauk which all seemed very easy to get to. The pool was lovely, but took forever to heat. We saw deer in the yard twice, which was so fun. Sara was always very quickly responsive to any questions we had and was hospitable with many great suggestions on things to do, especially since she noticed we were to have some rain. For our first trip to the Hamptons, this house was overall an excellent place to make breakfast, relax with some wine and cheese in the afternoon, or launch out from to the neighboring towns each day. It would have been a great space if we had our kids with us too. But it's also ideal for a getaway without them. Thanks Sara!

Charming home with fabulous pool

  • 5 of 5

The house was very well equipped with an abundance of dishes, linens and utensils. We appreciated the large open living space, which included kitchen, dining area, living room and den. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms up-dated. We loved the out-door shower. The highlight for us was the pool, which was a good size and sparkling clean. The area surrounding the pool is beautifully landscaped and private - there is a table for outdoor dining and comfortable sun loungers. Sarah, the owner was extremely helpful and provided us with tons of additional information and places to visit. We had a good time and enjoyed our short stay.

A lovely home with pool in Springs.

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely home, stylishly decorated with a good sized pool and landscaped garden, in the beautiful and peaceful area of Springs, close to both Bay and Ocean beaches. The house was spotless and easy to run, and the owner gave us friendly and helpful suggestions for activities, the best local farm-stands and restaurants I had a very specific remit for a house and location, and the owners listing description fitted exactly. We had a relaxing and happy vacation here.

Peaceful Springs retreat

  • 5 of 5

We loved this midcentury original tucked in the trees of Springs. We rode bikes every day to the General Store for morning coffee and East Hampton Point for afternoon drinks. Took some refreshing swims in the pool and generally relaxed away from the typical Hamptons summer circus. We were well looked after by the owner, with regular check-ins and advice on how to best enjoy our stay. We would definitely return.

Great mid- century yet cozy cottage--loved it!!

  • 5 of 5

We were delighted with the lovely mid- century cottage!! It was immaculate, cozy and immediately felt like home.the furnishing are so ultra cool--yet laid back and all the beds were spotless and had cozy quilts on then.

The backyard was great for hanging out and playing soccer (we visited during the world cup) or enjoying a glass of wine. We hope we can return again soon! I would highly reccomend this lovely place!!

The Jack'scoffee in Amagansett has great coffee!! The pollack/krasner house is great place to soak up local (impressive) flavor..and the local bagel shop was a hit. One other wonderful aspect of this specific location in east hampton is it's proximity to the springs-- kayaking on the water was a highlight. Thank you so much for a wonderful visit.
