Luxury apartment in the heart of Paris in the Champs Elysées, a few steps from “the most beautiful avenue in the world”
In the immediate vicinity of the Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde, department stores: Le Printemps, Les Galeries Lafayette, etc. Grand Palais, Le Lido and luxury shops: Vuitton, Guerlain, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Hermes, Cartier, etc.
In an exceptional historical building, this one bedroom apartment located at the corner of the Champs-Elysées, offers a luxurious setting and a unique atmosphere.
A beautiful XVIIIth century courtyard will lead you to the apartment.
The apartment on the fourth floor (with lift) is decorated with taste, is bright and calm. Hardwood floors, luxurious French style furniture, marble bathroom, flat screen, Home cinema, are among the elements of the apartment.
This was a great property! I was a little worried with their being only one bedroom, but our family of five stayed here quite comfortably.
The apartment was spotless, the kitchen very efficient, it was very well stocked with all the amenities. Gabrielle and her brother were quite helpful, and met us at the apartment even though we arrived late, and showed us how to operate the elevator, pointed out the view of the Eiffel Tower (from the bathroom :0) this made us all smile). It looked like the apartment had been renovated quite recently with a modern kitchen, updated bathroom and WC, new paint, and refinished floors. I was also impressed that they had two closets...a luxury!
The location is quite convenient to the metro, the Champs Elysee, the Louvre, and almost all tourist attractions. The building was lovely, an old masion with a courtyard, there is a doorman who is there until 8pm.
There is a Mono Prix less than a quarter mile away that is open until midnight...very important for that late night run to the store which is almost impossible anywhere in Europe.
The downside might be that it is on the top floor (but there is an elevator), and it may be a bit cramped for 5 if you are looking for a place longer than a week...but we were grateful they took five since paying for two bedrooms would have been cost-prohibitive! And we were quite comfortable!
I would rate this property and the owners with an Excellent rating! We all had a great stay Thanks Gabrielle for making it so enjoyable! I would definitely recommend.
We stayed there with a family of four and really can't add much more then has already been said.
The location is right off the Champs, so tons of things nearby. My kids loved Laduree's was only about an 8 minute walk and my wife loved the shopping nearby. Easy access to the Metro and a very short walk to a great view of the Eiffel Tower light show every night.
Gabriella was great, the apartment was super clean and in great shape. She setup a car for our journey back to the airport as well.
Again a great place and will definitely use again
Cannot speak highly enough of this property - clean, quiet, and convenient to all the major attractions in Paris. We arrived late, and the manager arranged for the very nice cleaning lady to meet us for keys, etc. Rooms were clean, spacious, and there is even a grocery store only a few blocks away. Highly recommended.
We stayed here as a family of four. We arrived very late at night, and the owner cheerfully met us at the building. All grocery stores were closed by then and, having anticipated that, the owner had very thoughtfully stocked the kitchen with water, biscuits and other provisions to keep us comfortable for the night. The following evening, she kindly helped us connect with a babysitter so that we could enjoy a more sophisticated dinner without the kids. The apartment's location could not be better: steps from the Champs-Elysees and the metro, yet so quiet that we wondered if we were the only ones in the building. The building itself is extremely well kept, and the apartment spotlessly clean. It has only one bedroom, yet is well laid out and therefore easily accommodated my husband and myself and the two kids, who slept on separate beds in the generous sized living area. This will be our "go to" apartment for future Paris stays. We highly recommend it.
Just got back from a first time visit to Paris. I loved every minute of it. The apartment is very well located on the most beautiful street in Paris. The property is clean and very functional. Gabriella is quick to reply to your emails and was there to meet me on October 16th at 10:30 AM. She showed me around the apartment and made me feel very at home. I most appreciated the use of the phone to call my husband and girls during my stay free of charge. TY Gabriella. I would stay there again...too nice to pass.
My sister and her husband stayed at Hotel Napoleon (business trip) located near Arc- de -Triomphe. It was a mere 20 min. walk.
As for activities we went to: Louve, Chateau Versaille, N-D. Cathedral, Tour Eiffel, S. Coeur in Montmarte also a ride on the Seine and Hop on-Hop Off city bus tour. We did a lot of walking (so good shoes is a must). Walking is a very nice way to see and feel the city at a more slower pace. We enjoyed the French wine and food. We also booked a show at Lido and saw "Le Bonheur" spectacle - FABULOUS. There are plenty of restaurant in Paris and you don't have to break the bank. We ate twice at a small but quaint place called Rest. Le Relais du Pont Neuf owned by Marie & Martine. The service is superbe and they are so nice. For less than 20 euro you get a 3 course meals.
As for transportation I booked over the internet before my trip Viator - Paris Shuttle. They were on time to pick me up and also for my departure. On both occasions the drivers were helpful but more so on my arrival. Thank you. I certainly would book again and do recommend them. They are quick to confirm your bookings and they do remind you a few days before your departure. There is also an emergency number that you can call.
As for the people in Paris. We found them nice and helpful. On one particular occasion I was without a phone and I had to reach my sister to let her know where we should meet. I asked a perfect stranger if I could use his cell phone to call. He did not hesitate and did the 2 calls (one to my sister and one to Gabriella). He refused both offers of money and coffee. He simply said it was a pleasure and to have a nice day. So, thank you for helping me. Also thank you to the young lady on the second floor of the apartment who did not hesitate to open her door to help me that morning. Your kindness was much appreciated.
I would not hesitate to recommend this property to my friends and family.
My wife, daughter, friend and I spent 7 days at the apartment. It is so typically French; we were simply excited to stay. Even though, Gabriella could not meet us at the apartment, her housekeeper met us and although she could not speak English all was great. Fortunately, my wife can speak some French. When you step through the carriage doors into the courtyard, whether you know it or not, you are stepping into history. And it is so, so quiet! Two minutes from the Champs and metro, about 10 minutes to the Eiffel and Rue Cler; all of Paris was within easy reach.
The apartment itself with its full kitchen, double bed and comfortable sofa bed was more than adequate for 4 adults. Half-bath with toilet (view of Eiffel) and half-bath with shower/tub and sink was roomy and convenient. All of the amenities you could want through out. The clothes washer did wash but drying was another thing. (Hang your clothes to dry.)
With the Champs close by, restaurants galore. Besides the Mono Prix, one block toward the Arc of Triumph there is a small grocery store. Fresh fruit, vegetables etc.
We were able meet Gabriella and her two beautiful daughters briefly when we checked out of the apartment. Simply delightful.
We would stay again!
