There is a fire pit for your use outside the lodge (please check with us on current burn bans or restrictions, also we do not supply firewood/starters). Hiking trails are plentiful -- check out Rachel/Rampart Lakes, Snow Lake, Kendall Catwalk, Silver Mountain, Granite Mountain Lookout, Bandera Mountain, and Gold Creek Park to name a few. Forest service roads right off the property are great for hiking, driving, picnics, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. During winter, the forest service roads connect to miles of groomed snowmobile trails on Kachess Ridge. We have plenty of parking in the lower lot for snowmobile trailers, but we do not rent snowmobiles. Also in winter time, designated cross-country skiing trails are maintained across the street (fees apply).
Sheets, bath towels, hot tub towels, kitchen towels, dish cloths, 6 rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, iron and ironing board. We also supply pots, pans, plates, silverware, glassware, and cookware. Also wireless internet, but it is a little slow out here in the forest.
WHAT TO BRING
Bottled water, food and drinks (don't forget staples like olive oil, salt and pepper, seasonings, etc.), clothes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toiletries, extra toilet paper & paper towels, foil, seran wrap, ziploc bags, food storage containers, beach towels, sunglasses, cameras, games, DVDs, electronics, phones, chargers, and firewood.
The managers live onsite in separate quarters over the detached garage. They are there for cabin maintenance only, especially between guests but sometimes during a guest stay when necessary. They enjoy meeting guests who are interested, but also ask that guests respect their privacy as this is their full time residence.
There is a gas station and a few restaurants 10 minutes west at Snoqualmie Pass (try Commonwealth, Dru Bru Brewery, Webb's Restaurant, Red Mountain Coffee Co, and the Armadillo cart). 10 minutes east in Easton there is a gas station and two restaurants (try Smokehouse BBQ). 22 minutes east is Suncadia (try Swiftwater Winery, Portals, or the Glade Springs Spa) and Roslyn is a great tiny town to check out with shops & restaurants (try Village Pizza, Maggie's Pantry, Pastime Burgers, Roslyn Brewery, and the Brick). 25 minutes east is Cle Elum with shops, gas, a grocery store, and restaurants (try Beau's Pizza/Pasta, Stella's Cafe, there is also a diner open until 1pm--Cottage Cafe).

What makes this Lodge unique
For construction season and the I-90 project: we have a separate, flat, 1 acre lot that is easily accessible from the main road. It would be well suited for long-term parking of vehicles and construction equipment.

We enjoyed our stay very much.
Very beautiful home and scenic area. We have stayed in other homes away from home and this was the best.
Great place with a huge game room. My family and friends had a great time. The property manager was also quite helpful and responsive.
We took our grandkids and their parents to go sledding it was wonderful. There was the perfect hill right on the property. The managers were great helped us with everything.
The house is emmaculate very well cared for. Very comfortable with lots of snow!!
Wonderful and Spacious house
My wife and I took our kids and grankids to the lodge for 4 days for our 35th anniversary. The first impression of the lodge is the roominess. It is so open and so big. The windows look into the forest and when it is snowing it is wonderful. We had 10 people so there was no problem with bedroom space. The kitchen is modern and well stocked. The living room is big enough that we could all watch movies together. Some of the kids played pool, darts or foosball. We brought snowmobiles and just down the back hill there was a big field that we spent a lot of time in. We dug out the firepit and had a raging fire while it snowed.
All in all it was a great trip. We met Katie, the host, on our last day there. She is very sweet and was very quick to take care of any situation that we had. If you are looking for a great getaway in the summer or winter, look no further.
Had a great ti!
This is the second time we have stayed at this lodge. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Katie was super friendly and helpful. Planning to come back again!
Spent a long weekend here ringing in the New Year, along with four other couples. Each couple had their own room with at least a queen sized bed. There was plenty of room for all of us and it never felt cramped.
The dining table was big enough to accommodate all 10 of us. The kitchen was amazing with plenty of counter space. You'll want to bring your own spices and cooking oil. The laundry area was huge and had even more counter and storage space for our extra supplies, coolers, etc. The main living area had an amazing view and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The TVs had DirectTV so we were able to watch the bowl games over New Years. The downstairs common area had a few game tables, a modest workout area, and another large sectional/TV. The hot tub was a huge plus. There was also a nice sledding hill right by the parking area.
Getting here in the winter wasn't too bad. The road to the cabin from I-90 is plowed, and the steep driveway up to the cabin is plowed regularly as well.
I loved this place and would come back in a heartbeat!
