The property was stunning! It was the perfect size fo a multi family vacation. The cabin is so spacious that you never felt crowded. Having the owners on site was great! They plowed the driveway, created sledding hills for the kids and adults, and even started a fire in the firepit for us! They have cats that live on the property and they are the sweetest things ever. We enjoyed watching them frolic in the snow and playing with them:). We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful, fun experience. We will definitely come back!
What a very relaxing, beautiful scenic area! Thank you for sharing your beautiful retreat.
I rented this huge cabin for a couple days to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. Everyone was so happy and impressed with how clean and beautiful the cabin was. Decor was great, well maintained, and overall a great experience. I definitely will be back!!! The manager was very helpful as well.
Floor plan is nicely laid out. A large group like ours (14) can break into smaller groups for pool, foosball, air hockey in the daylight basement, or for board games upstairs, without disturbing those who just want to sit and talk in the living room. One caution: When they say "bring food", they mean even salt and pepper.
Our entire family of 12 plus kids loved this place and plan to return!
It was home for our Thanksgiving which meant lots of food. From the large fridge to the high quality double ovens and 6 burner stove to the beautiful grand table...it was the perfect place for the big special dinner. HUGE beautiful kitchen and island...it was so much fun to cook with everyone and we all had the space we needed!
Room for everyone. Quiet areas were nicely separated from loud/game areas. No one ever felt cramped or looking for where to sit or to be comfortable. Huge comfy couch downstairs where the boys watched the football game (they had direct TV on all the TV's!)
Very well appointed. Plenty of dishes and glasses. Two coffee makers meant no one was waiting for coffee (Genius!! Beautiful candles. More games than you could ever play... from board games to the pool table (which we played a lot!) to air hockey and so much more. We had everything we needed.
The view out the great room was spectacular. TALL, tall ceiling with floor to ceiling windows. The pics on the site don't (can't) do it justice.
There is a nice trail right out the front door. We also made a big fire in the large firepit.
Exceeded all of our expectations! I know there were several other thing that delighted us but those were the highlights!
We had a family reunion with 10 adults and 6 kids and it was perfect. The house was secluded and quiet, and had a great rec room that the kids from age 10 to 2 loved, and even with the air hockey going, you couldn't hear the noise from the downstairs on the main floor. The hot tub was great and the kitchen was well stocked.
The two things they tell you about, but I missed noting was that you should bring toilet paper as they only have a "starter" set, and they also mentioned to bring drinking water which we forgot and the tap water tastes of sulfur, or as we termed fart water.
So bring toilet paper and drinking water and you will love the place! A perfect fit for a family reunion.
