|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
We purchased Le Gallerie because it occupies one of the most breathtaking positions in St Lucia and possibly the whole of the Caribbean. If you want somewhere very special to stay then please talk to us directly as we are the owners and can provide you with the most insight and assistance.
The house is perched on the cliff top 300 ft directly above the Caribbean Sea looking straight at the magnificent Pitons across Soufriere Bay. The perspective of the Pitons is special as is the connection with the ocean as nothing stands between our beautiful home and the vast, blue, mystical pannarama to the horizon.
Vast living areas are provided both inside the house and around the infinity edge swimming pool. A 60 foot sitting room and covered veranda provide ample relaxation space for entertaining and unwinding.
All five double en-suite bedroom suites face the Pitons and have their own balcony areas. The horizon from the house also sweeps round to the setting sun offering one of the most amazing and romantic locations imaginable. On clear days you can also see the island of St Vincent.
A private path leads down 300 feet to a stony beach which is directly on one of the island's marine dive reserves.
The house comes fully staffed; house keeper, chef, gardener/pool maintenance and night watchman - all you have to do is enjoy the most relaxing and beautiful location. Our wonderful staff are there to take care of you.

The view of the Pitons is just breath taking. All day the light changes on the Caribbean Sea and the sunsets can be spectacular. It is just an amazing place to chill out with friends and family, its very private and relaxing in today's mad world and our staff are just so friendly and wonderful. They make us feel great every day.
Amazing views and wonderful staff will make your vacation so special.
We left North Carolina and our 4 kids behind to celebrate our 15th anniversary and had a week in paradise. Having been to many exotic locations and third world countries, I didn't think there was a place on the planet where I wouldn't mind renting a car - but I couldn't imagine driving on some of the roads there. It's not a negative, because Bernard was such a great personal driver that we never worried at all. The pictures from the website are true to life, in fact, it's even better in person. You literally feel like there is no one else on the island once the staff leave for the day, and having looked at all the villa options for Souffriere, Gallerie clearly has the most impressive view of the Pitons out of all. Plus, we were greeted by a rainbow on our arrival! The weather was perfect every day, the food excellent thanks to our very capable and friendly house staff. We never ate out since we had such great cooks on site and never did any activities on the island other than swimming at the pool, down at their rocky beach (great snorkeling!) and at Anse Chastanet (an easy walk down that seems a little longer coming up but is very doable). We did, however, hike the Gros Piton and were amazed that anyone can make that climb. It's more of a compilation of 4-6 foot boulders all the way up the mountain, than a trail. We are an athletic couple and found it to be quite a challenge! Of course, we tried to keep up with our 15 year-old gazelle, I mean guide, who leaped up the rocks and boulders like they were nothing! He offered to slow down, but we take opportunities like that to become 'weekend warriors' and try to pretend we're not really 40 years old any more. All in all, it was a fantastic trip and the owners were extremely helpful in answering all of our questions, concerns and they were very accommodating. We would recommend this villa very highly (where else can you lay on a hammock inside the house while hummingbirds drink nectar from the vast array of purple flowers only a few feet above you!) It really is surreal. I wish I could post pictures in this review, but the owners provide excellent ones and don't leave anything lacking. Someday we hope to return with all of our children so we can put all of the bedrooms and staff to even better use (I know they want to come), but then again a nice break from reality with just the two of us in paradise - at Le Gallerie again - would be a really nice treat for our 20th...
Well, it has taken me nine months to find the quiet to follow up with a review of the most dreamy, relaxing vacation ever. My husband surprised me for my fortieth birthday by sending myself and nine of my closest friends to St. Lucia for five nights. And, boy, did he pick the most fabulous house on all the island!! Not only does La Gallerie boast THE most envied view, but also the most precious, warm, friendly staff whose culinary talents are absolutely unmatched. Upon our arrival, Cookie and Shermaine decorated each bed with beautiful flowers and petals from the surrounding area. It was so charming. Shermaine, Josephine, and Cookie made it their top priority that we were comfortable, WELL fed, and that we felt cared for in every way during our stay. I cannot say enough about this beautiful place, its top notch staff, the overall cleanliness, and the delicious cuisine. Thank you, Bar and Ben, for sharing your little piece of heaven with us girls! I remember my time there often, with such fondness. It's a trip I'll never forget! I truly hope to return sooner than later.
Don't forget your camera ! You will want to look at that view forever! Extremely special place and having travelled all over the world, there are also very special people in St Lucia. Beauty & smiles abounds in all directions. The property and house are stunning. If one appreciates historically designed homes for locations such as this, you will appreciate the house even more. Everything perfectly designed for comfort and maximum use of the views. The staff were amazing and the food equally as delightful. Having two hotels close by permitted us to also enjoy restaurants and the beach. Climb down the mountain side with Tiki to the private rock beach if you have the power or be lazy around the pool with a cold Piton beer!
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my stay at Le Gallerie! I am so glad my sister booked pur family trip here. I was concerned about traveling out of the country with a toddler, but the staff at Le Gallerie made me and my little girl's stay the absolute best! My daughter Hailey fell in love with the Sharmaine, Cookie, and Josephine (the house staff) from the moment we got there! Lol. She even woke up one morning asking me for Ms Sharmaine's chicken for breakfast! The house was so breathtakingly beautiful. The pictures on the website really don't do any justice compared to the actual view. I would highly recommend that if you have the chance, book a stay at Le Gallerie. My family and I felt like we had a place to call home and felt so relaxed. Our security guard Albert came by and made sure that we were alright and kept a close watch over us. He was so great! I have never been somewhere, where I felt so safe and relaxed as if I was at my own home. Le Gallerie is the place for me the next time I come back to St Lucia!!
Words cannot express how much fun my family and I had at the Le Gallerie property. Everything was absolutely perfect! The home was so beautiful, my husband and I couldn't stop taking pictures of the home itself, and the view of the Pitons from the dining table! The view was so amazingly beautiful! They're no words in the English language that could describe the beauty of the view. The amazing hardworking staff, the food prepared by Chef Sharmaine, and the card games that my family played with the security guard, Albert, were definitely the few highlights of our trip. I cannot end this review without thanking the most wonderful owners of the property, Ben and Bar! You both were extremely accommodating to my large family of 12. My family consisted of 10 adults and 2 infants. The owners made sure that baby cribs were available for the babies to sleep. The owners and all of the staff went over and beyond my expectations to make sure my family and I were well taken care of during our stay at the villa. My husband and I are still raving about the key lime pie, fish cakes, coconut shrimp and the steaks that Sharmaine made for us. I definitely plan to return to St. Lucia again in the near future to stay at this hidden gem of paradise. When I return, I plan to conquer the Gros Piton hike a second time and spend more time at the Sulphur Springs 🏖
What a wonderful vacation we have had at Le Gallerie! We are still talking about it and have recommended to everyone we know! We travelled with our 3 young adult children and their friends ( 20-25 year olds) ...7 of us in total and could not have had a better or more memorable vacation. From the pick up at the airport by the wonderful Bernard, to the jaw dropping first look of the house, we were hooked. Shermaine and her staff were so professional and welcoming that we knew we would enjoy ourselves. The views of the Pitons from everywhere in the house, never ceased to amaze us. The house had so many places to enjoy either alone or with the group, so it suited everyone! Due to the ages of our group, we thoroughly enjoyed the physicality of being at this property. The hike down to the snorkelling area on the property was moderately challenging but well worth the privacy of having your own piece of paradise. We also enjoyed the walk down to the beach and walked into the town of Soufriere almost every day for lunch. Shermaine was very attentive to our dietary wishes, and made the most spectacular dinners for us! Cookie was lovely and quietly unobtrusive as was Tikky. Albert was so sweet and we truly enjoyed getting to know him. And finally to Bar and Ben, thank you for sharing this spectacular property with your guests...it was easily the most beautiful tropical home we have every stayed in and we hope we can come back again soon. As I said to you, Barbara, the description and photos do not at all do justice to this gorgeous home.
I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful trip we had to St. Lucia. Your
home is beautiful and the views and scenery were nothing we had ever
experienced before. Your staff was great, we really enjoyed Shermaine's
cooking and her wealth of knowledge about anything we needed was very
appreciated. She took care of everything for us. Cookie and Josephine
were so sweet, they did a great job of decorating our bed with flowers. It
was such a treat. Albert was very nice and thoughtful, we wish he could
have been there our entire stay. Bernard drove us all over the place and
was such a great person. Tigy kept the pool so clean and was there each
morning tending to the landscaping.
Thank You so much for arranging everything for the Wedding. It was all so
perfect and beautiful. The flowers were gorgeous, the hairdresser did a
great job on our hair, Imogen did such a nice ceremony with such beautiful
words, Bill Mortley was a great photographer, we have so many beautiful
pictures and our video is awesome. The wedding meal Shermaine cooked was
fabulous, we really enjoyed it. I'm sure I missed something, but I can't
thank you enough for giving us this great opportunity of having our dream
wedding and honeymoon. It will be something we will always cherish. We
would love to vacation there again one day
