Why Katie Howland 2 chose Boulder
Doug came across this property in the early '90s. He fell in love with it not only for its beauty, but also because it is both accessible and secluded with the Escalante River flowing through it.
What makes this House unique
There are many amazing natural wonders right out the front door and within an hour's drive (see above). Look for deer and wild turkey in the meadow in the mornings and evenings and watch the cloud shadows change over the canyon walls. Head up or down the canyon into rugged wilderness, and return home to comfort.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Beautiful home is the remote setting
Lots of quiet time away from anyone. Beautiful custom home with great furnishings. You are surrounded by the mountains.
My wife and I had dreamed of renting this home for years and finally got around it. We were not disappointed to say the least. The pictures do not do the Escalante Canyon House and the surrounding property justice. Our time on the property truly felt like a dream. It's one of those rare times in you life that you feel just so lucky to be where you are. Can't wait to come back!
One of the best rentals we have had
The pictures don’t give this place full justice. Outstanding! Great layout. Everything one could need.
Great house on an amazing piece of land!
I had a wonderful three day stay at this beautiful house. It is in a gorgeous location and the hikes start right outside the door. The owner was very responsive when I needed her. I will definitely be back!
Off the beaten path and so peaceful
This property is one of the most tranquil and inviting settings I have ever had the pleasure to rent. Loaded with all the modern appliances except TV, which didn't bother me at all. Katie was very helpful and responded to questions. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.
Beautiful and secluded
My favorite part of finding a vrbo house to rent, is finding one as unique and tranquil as this one. We came here for our anniversary and it was such a wonderful time. The house with all of the windows looking out to the beautiful rock cliffs and trees is magical. I enjoyed being able to walk on the property along the river and enjoy the beauty without anyone around. That's a real treat!
