Complete refurbishment completed in 2008 with meticulous attention to detail. Master bedroom suite includes 15-foot ceiling, ample closet space and a spa quality bathroom. Chef's kitchen equipped with custom-made cabinetry, honed granite counter tops and professional grade appliances by Viking, Bosch and GE Monogram. Entire dwelling is well appointed with Hickory Chair and antique furnishings throughout, and all 3 bedrooms come furnished with queen size beds. Other amenities include plasma flat panel television with satellite HDTV and wireless high-speed internet. Full size front loading washer and dryer located on main floor in hallway next to kitchen. The residents here are a tight-knit group comprised mostly of families who possess a strong sense of community. Nestled within the long rows of neighborhood homes you will find pockets of excitement ranging from a multitude of eating establishments to DC's only remaining original public produce market, known as Eastern Market. And of course it's extremely close proximity to the Capitol and various Smithsonian museums puts you literally at the doorstep of our nation's history. It is an absolutely wonderful location for both residents and visitors alike!

No expense was spared in remodeling and furnishing this house. You will be staying in an historic home complete with modern amenities. Sophisticated brownstone in a great location

This is the second time we have stayed at this rowhouse. It is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We had three adults and three children and had lots of room to spread out. It is an easy walk to the apartment from Union Station. You can also check your bags at Union Station if you need a place to keep them before the apartment is ready. The street is generally quiet but cars do occasionally speed down it so be careful with small children. There are a couple of grocery stores on either end of the street, closest has a great little coffee shop, sandwiches and things. Another thing I love about the apt. is the deck above the garage, it is so nice to sit outside while the sun sets. I hope we make it back again soon. I highly recommend this apartment/rowhouse if you are looking for something very close to Union Station and The Capital building. Easily walk to lots of restaurants closeby (lots on H), and on a quiet street this is a great spot. Also, it comes with a covered parking place behind the building.

The townhouse is very comfortable and extremely clean. Perfect location to explore DC. We definitely would stay here again! Loved the neighborhood, too.

Great place to stay

So glad I chose this property for our trip to D.C. It was clean, roomy , well furnished and very comfortable. We were only a few blocks from Union Station, half a block away from a very cute little market, two blocks from a full grocery store. What was really great was having a deck that we could sit down at the end of a busy day and have a few cocktails and relax. I have recommended this property to family members and if I someday find myself traveling again to D.C. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else

Gorgeously renovated

The location was just perfect for us. This rowhouse was wonderfully restored with intact character and was decorated beautifully. We enjoyed restaurants within walking distance, as well as the grocery store and coffee shop. The owner was prompt in getting back to us when we had an issue with the refrigerator.

The deck above the garage was the perfect way to relax after a day of taking in the sites.

Highly recommend this superb property!
