Easy walk to the Mall and Smithsonian museums. Pentagon, Arlington, Dupont Circle and Georgetown are a quick and easy commute via Metro.
PARKING: Garage parking available at no charge. On-street parking also available and requires a zoned parking permit, which is also provided free of charge. Garage parking for additional vehicles is available 3 blocks away for $15 per day.

Historic Capitol Hill is truly a downtown suburb that offers all the excitement of the city yet retains a safe and small neighborhood feel. The residents here are a tight-knit group comprised mostly of families who possess a strong sense of community. Nestled within the long rows of neighborhood homes you will find pockets of excitement ranging from a multitude of eating establishments to DC's only remaining original public produce market, known as Eastern Market. And of course it's extremely close proximity to the Capitol and various Smithsonian museums puts you literally at the doorstep of our nation's history. It is an absolutely wonderful location for both residents and visitors alike!
No expense was spared in remodeling and furnishing this house. You will be staying in an historic home complete with modern amenities. Location-wise, everything you need (restaurants, groceries, shopping, Metro) is within 2 blocks and everything you want to see (Capitol, Library of Congress, National Mall, Smithsonian museums) is just a few blocks further and within easy walking distance. Live amongst the locals and truly feel at home during your visit!
The house was described perfectly. It was also very clean with plenty of wonderful fluffy, white bathroom towels. Located just a few blocks from Union Station, we literally walked everywhere we wanted to go. There is a tiny market just a few doors down and a larger market about 2 blocks in the other direction. Having a place to park, off street AND in a garage makes this property a PRIME location.
My only issues were with the garage access code. It didn't work. So every time we needed in the garage, we had to go through the house to open it. It would have been nice to have hand soap in the bathrooms and coffee filters stocked for the coffee maker. The toaster needs replaced as it will only toast bread on one side.
We most definitely would stay at this location again! We felt like we were in a safe location. To top off a great stay, the owner didn't require anything for us to do at checkout. We just packed up and left. Most properties that I have stayed at leave you a long list of things to do at checkout. It was really nice not to have that.
We stayed for a long weekend with our family and it was just perfect for us. Love the location and all the great places nearby to eat. We would definitely stay there again!
Easy walking disrance to so many great places and tasty restaurants. Very comfortable space. Just one suggestion for us tea drinkers, a kettle would be nice😊
We will definitely be back! Unbelievable home and great location just blocks from Union Station. Good restaurants in the area and corner grocery store.
Our family really enjoyed the stay in the row house . Convenient for touring , would love to stay again!
We loved this neighborhood and that property. There is a local grocer three doors down which made it very convenient to get some coffee and other small items. You are right in the heart of D.C. in this house.
